You just described our usual defense apart from "had to recover it", he's the only one that does that.

    Attendance

Tonight's attendance was abysmal, 3,339. Just wondering for any stattos out there that might be reading, when did we last have an attendance that low for a home game, either in the league or cup?

    Mark McGhee

It is hard to stomach but it's never going to change unfortunately, it's always been the same. Sometimes we need to question, is it a bad attitude, or it simply that they're gash.
  4. What was worse in an off the park sense, was the fact that at around half 7 you couldn't get into the East stand without supplying your own light to hand over your money or ticket as it appears the stand suffered a power cut. The stewards tonight in that area of the East stand were horrible, lobbing folk out left right and centre for no reason. There's never any bother down there until they wade in, they will never learn.

Motherwell fans are arseholes. I'm sorry, but were the most fickle bunch of people there is, we're never up but we're down, when we win, we were lucky, and Player X is shite and sack the manager cause he's a whore/shite (delete as applicable) and when we lose it the same times ten. Our place in Scottish football IS to be down the lower end of the table, scrapping, with the odd glimpse of success here or there, it has been so for as long as I can remember. Too many 'Well fans have ideas above their station about this club and need a reality check, it's not a good thing to read, but it's true, we will NEVER consistently play well, finish well in the league, win cups, what we will do is be shite, be inconsistent, be frustratingly bad and that will always be the case sadly, no matter what manager we have or what players we have, it always has been and always will be. We need to deal with it that way, and enjoy it for what it is. Sad to say, believe me, but true. We need to get real.
  6. Ah well everybodies heard about the bird, b b b bird bird bird, bird is the word.
  7. Killie always have a crap support, so no real surprise if they only bring about 150.
  8. Hmmm, reading between the lines, Smith wants out, and if thats the case, I hope we can bring someone in to play in his place if/when he signs a pre contract.

    Accies game

Read somewhere (maybe P&B) that we have only taken 500 tickets for Love Street as they are expecting to sell out due to the occassion, so anyone thinking of going and waiting til the last minute might find themselves in bother, best to get them early I'd suggest.
  10. I don't know how easy the setting up of these kind of deals are, but it would be good if we could get a deal with a first or second division side, you never know what you might unearth and it's good experience for the young guys, as for the Premiership, I'd be happy with some sort of arrangement with any side in the Championship, but I don't think these deals are as easy as FM makes them out to be.
  11. Bit in the Evening Times today says Craigan is ready to run, but McGhee won't let him do it on artificial surfaces, which have been what they are using for training as they can't get "nice, soft grass".

    The Pitch

See being honest, if the game is off due to a frozen pitch again, then we should be heavily fined and have points docked. There will be no excuses.
  13. Sometimes, if there's something there, it's worthwhile to get them in and see, you never know what you might uncover.
  14. Been a bit of a hassle for ye this new book hasn't it... I'll pick up a copy on Monday from you, sure it'll be worth the wait!
  15. Was just thinking about this yesterday and was considering writing an article as part of my course for my portfolio, and just couldn't bring myself to do it. Unbelievable how time passes.

    What a Joke

We probably voided the warranty by sticking garden forks through it
  17. Fact is, Fir Park would have undergone all the SPL tests pre season, which I presume entailed an undersoil heating check, if it was passed as working, which I believe it was, then it has simply malfunctioned in one area, which is bloody annoying, but it is to be expected given the expense that it would cause to continually check its working ok. The covers that were brought in "at some expense" have also let us down badly, if the temperature of -7 at Fir Park is accurate, and these covers are meant to cover to -10, then they have failed, and as such I hope MFC demand a refund.

    What a Joke

The company responsible for its maintainance? I think the problem starts and ends with the South Stand, every single call off has originated in that area, whether it be waterlogged or frozen, it's a feckin monstrosity that lies empty for 95% of the season. The sooner we move to Ravenscraig the better.

    We're Open Again

The Resolution doesn't seem quite right, seems to be very stretched, is this a problem on the forum or is it a setting that can be changed on the site? Good to be back.
