  1. I presume they'll shovel it all. If the game doesn't go on now, it never will.
  2. http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/5day.shtml?id=1029 Doesn't seem so dramatic..
  3. And here was me thinking he was a money grabbing so and so, in it for himself, with dodgy knees who'd miss many games a season for us and not score any goals other than headers.
  4. I for one welcome Gary Teale and his push with us to get to Europe. Welcome aboard.
  5. He's a Scotland international, so i think he'd do fine in the SPL. Love Motherwell fans giving players chances.
  6. Radio says theres about 5-600 dossers there, thats a brilliant away crowd.
  7. Brilliant Clarky! I'd never have had him down for a penalty taker a few years back, sounds like a very confident kick and just what we deserve.
  8. Sounds like we're all over this team in this second half and doing all but score, come on, we're due a bit of luck.
  9. Would be very interesting if we happened to get something from them, a loan is a great shout. Hopefully an attacking player, maybe not a striker, Pearson would be great, but I don't imagine him returning here any time soon. We'll never know the right fee either, Porters deal has went from 400 from Cardiff to 425, we'll probably end up getting a tad less than that, but its still a good fee for us.
  10. Financially, everyone is in the shit. We are just being prudent by not splashing cash just for the sake of it. We are getting along fine with loans, frees and youth, why chase the golden carrot of Europe every season and end up REALLY in the shit.
  11. Good post Ya Bezzer, at the end of the day, Motherwell, like every other SPL side (outwith the Edinburgh 2 and Old Firm) are never going to dramatically strengthen their squad and pay fees, it's always going to have to be loans and freebies, and at this time of year there aren't many clubs willing to give loans and freebies. January is a sellers market and we are not in any position to offer big money.

    Bid For Lasley

Why? No one will pay money for him with his deal due up in the summer, so he is clearly just going to be sat on the bench and his deal run up. Lasley is, whilst a good solid player, not a world beater, not even one of the best in the SPL, and for a bid of almost 300k for him would be a great deal for a club like ours.

    Bid For Lasley

Aye, but 275k? A bid like that for him, when he isn't a guaranteed to start would be a superb deal. That could be the money for Klimpl, who is far better than Lasley.

    Bid For Lasley

That's funny money for us for a player like Lasley. Deal.

    Tam Mcmanus?

Exactly, thought he was too good to us and went to Dundee and ended up getting relegated with them. Fuck him.
  16. I don't think so, sure you need to be registered before the original he'll be eligible to beat Owen Coyle in the next round though.
  17. According to Wiki he lived in Hamilton, so its possible he was with us, but it also mentioned that Hibs signed him to their youth scheme when he was 14, which would have been in 01/02?
  18. Do they want Clarkson aswell? Sheep shagging bastards..... But on a serious note, gutted to see Porter go if this turns out to be true, which, with Devlin reporting it, I expect it to be, but he goes, like everyone else has said, with my best wishes and thanks. He done a tremendous job for us and 425k at this stage of his deal, considering we got him for nowt is a good move for everyone involved. Only wish he'd have scored that header on Saturday now...

    Hibs Tickets

Then surely it would be the same at ER?
  20. I'd fire Shaun McSkimming into the latter category, and Eddie May into a "if he was played in his right position...." sub category.
  21. As above poster says, Doesburg, Matthei, along with Michels, Miller, Jamie someone (centre half), McLair formed Kampmanns first few signings. Valakari signed in 1996, whilst McLeish was manager. Incidentally, Valakari is currently playing for Finnish side TPS Tuku alongside one of the Paataleinan brothers, Mikku.
