I said it was concerning and I stand by that. I noticed not one comment on how a 28 year old journeyman footballer will potentially deny Livingstone a first team spot. What’s the thoughts on this? Turnbull and Hastie faced delays getting into the team, despite them being better than what we had.

I'll certainly give you Aldred who the Bury fans hated but what I will say is that previous fans from other clubs (Blackpool specifically) were very favourable to him which gave some comfort. Can't comment on Tanser to be honest. I'm not saying it doesn't turnaround but usually it does not, and my confidence in our signing rises in the style of Gallagher where he is considered a decent player by the fans of his former club.

It's not pish. We all read Taylor Sinclair was a dud, and he was (times many many occasions we have been forewarned about players)
Imagine spending your money on something, let's say a car and everybody says it's crap but you buy it anyway because until Spiderpigs says so and given it a chance it can't be.
They have watched Tait and gave positive reviews on the same spin and we know what we get from him.
Furthermore this potentially denies Livingstone a game, and for me there is questions to be answered there too.
The likelihood is they are correct and we have wasted our monies. That's logic. If he turns it around good luck, and I will post something then.
50 odd people saying he's awful from Cambridge, Partick etc.

This new signing concerns me. He has been slaughtered, and see to be honest. If that number of people slaughter him. I believe it.
It was quoted what people said about Dunne but there was some positivity too.
These guys have watched the player for two years, I'm pretty sure I would agree with the consensus of 95% of the fans opinions on here when a player goes.
So it's Aaron Taylor Sinclair mark two. Not ideal.

Honestly; trolls a plenty. Said the same last season with everyone squirming that we would go down nowhere near the same position. Our plight is inevitable 2/7 non city clubs will be relegated each year and one year it will be us. Our manager this time round has insured it won’t be us this time round. I highly doubt the st Johnstone fans go for the love of great football they play; but unlike the trolls of our support; I hope indeed they appreciate like us; it’s only a matter of time and again this year it won’t be them. I’m fed up with the Dewells of this world and should I meet them face to face, I’ll bet their exact outlook on life is the opposite of mine. We won today get a grip, and allow the rest of us to enjoy and push for us now to relax and get a bedding of the young talent in game time to push us forward like we all want. One bad manager and our time is done; be careful what you wish for and I’m sure people like your sad little selves will get it one day to our cost.

Going back to Leighton.
Watford have more first team defenders listed than actual players in their U-23s; I'm unconvinced that the system is no more than filling up the rotas and as we know it is very difficult for players to come through to a premiership side. So ultimately I would expect he will make or break it at around D2 level in England, but be a lot older when doing it.

Celtic do it because they have better squad players and play more games, my quote was the championship, for example do Rotherham do it? For everyone that said what if we got players injured - what if we actually made an attempt to win and got three points? Added to that giving the fans something to shout about. We complain about no title race, well for sure last night doesn’t help. You won’t please me, because I will never agree that we should make all those changes to a team that won their last game.

I don’t buy into any of the comments about rotating the team. If you want to be a top player you need to be able to manage two games a week nowadays. Look at the number of games in the championship. We should not have changed a winning team.

Apologies if this has been asked before and I'm not even sure this is the correct post - but I'd love one last shot at a play on the park day. Getting old.
Does the society/club have any plans for this? Seemed to raise good monies, as good amounts for each position.

I think Bowman has accepted the role of a number 2 striker, his work rate is harder and he's started to win everything in the air.
So damn those stats his all round contribution is worth praising and his ethic to get there.

This won't go down well but here goes.
I don't think any of our players should be up for an award this season and barring Scott Mckenna in the under 21s, the reality is who has actually had a better season? There are comments about Tierney, who is one of the best hopes this country has in a defence back line for donkeys years. I didn't know Morelos was only 21, Caixinha obviously had him delivering the big Sunday Mexican times up the hill over a few years.
But really c'mon I am one the most fervant Motherwell fans, but the reality is that there is a good chance we will finish eighth in the league. There are many arguments for many players who have done more this season than even the guys mentioned. The only hope was at the younger level.
I've done it now I'll check the responses in the morning!

To be fair to yodo he found the abilities of our youths due to the inabilities of our first team. I don’t think this deserves praise or negativity. That’s my sit on the fence answer
