  1. Wouldn't want one on my wall (wife would complain for a start!) but I wouldn't mind a wee A4 size book(let?) with them all in it with match reports as I said before.
  2. ocht! I just meant a wee thing, a bit like the matchday program itself. I'm not talking about a hardback with 100k editions printed!
  3. A book of those with match reports on the reverse for each game this season would be fantastic.
  4. would still prefer two leagues, top league of 20, play each other twice, 38 games. bottom league of 22, play each 0ther twice gives them 42 games, more gate income for the lower league clubs. no splits.
  5. What caused the loud bang that came from the end of the east stand?
  6. I am an it manager and I have previously had discussions with Commsworld around a contract for telephony support. Anyway, the business manager I had discussions with was also involved in the sponsorship deal with MFC, we got talking about it as I had mentioned being a 'Well fan. He in turn told me that the amount they paid was cheaper than a national centre page newspaper advert. now, I don't know how much that would cost, but in the grand scheme of things, I don't think its a huge amount.
  7. For me, the problem around the sponsorship is all about value. Yes, we could most likely have a sponsor in place, but for a much lower fee than we would really like. The issue there is once you accept a smaller fee, that sets the value for future sponsorships. a bit like 'Well around transfer fees and sponsorships, clubs know we will accept lower amounts than others now, so go in with lower offers. Anyway, the gamble has been made in that Doncaster has most likely held out trying to get a higher amount, but it hasn't come. You may say, a lower sponsorship is better than none, but in the long run, it may not be for the best.
  8. couldn't we have played a game this tue/wed and/or last tue/wed instead?
  9. If I wasn't a season ticket holder it probably wouldn't bother me as much, but its another game I can;t get to and devalues my ticket. I have said this a few times now, but i really think that this will be my last year with my ST as its costing me too much. I would be cheaper paying at the gate due to the number of games I miss.
  10. I'm the opposite Frazzie. That is quite possibly the worst time for me personally. still not convinced that all things being equal, it draws in more fans than a 3pm Saturday or 7:45 Wednesday
  11. Aye, had him and big Rodger Hynd too.
  12. looks like you need a subscription to read the whole thing.
  13. I know it would mean losing him just now, but can't we sign Anier up on a pre-contract for next season?
  14. I thought the power cut game was against hibs.
  15. I think we should leave it and put a sign up that says "Celtic Fans did this..."
  16. A set of headphones and some music should be enough to drown out the naughty words!
  17. I see that as a compliment though. They obviously see us as being one of the key contenders and are therefore surprised when we were 5th and a massive 2 points away from 2nd.
  18. 3-0 to the 'Well today. I have a good feeling! Anyone know if the game is on the telly?
  19. NAW! I haven't been to a game since the start of November! desperate for a game!
  20. aye. The Force is strong in this one.......
  21. got my raffle ticket through the post today! I didn't think anything would be sent out, I just assumed it would have been names out a hat! might have saved a bit of postage too. oh well, mon the hospitality!
