  1. As far as I know the polis only ejected him from the stadium, don't think he was charged.
  2. Do we need music pregame? aside from a wee blast of up the well maybe it seems pointless to me.
  3. Tbh I do see it from both sides, aye it is a bad word but to me it is about context. It's not filled with hate and bile here, its a wee tongue in cheek dig thats started with people singing the words featured on that banner to the tune of I fought the law(and the law won). The wee boy's picked up on that and made his banner but not in a context that is intended to demean protestants, in this case it was a wee dig at the h word referring to Rangers in general, not sectarian to me.
  4. No, however if my boss asked me to do something that was well within my remit I would have to oblige as I'd have no reason to say no. At work I sometimes need to use a piece of equipment that crushes glass bottles. There's an element of danger involved in that but as it is my job so I do it, I don't work in a risky job, I'm a barman, not that risky a job but, if i signed up for a potentially risky job like being a polis then I would equally just have to do my job. If people are being sectarian then they need to do something about it. It might cause a fuss or a scene but since it's a bunch of Rangers fans who despite what we think will be largely decent right minded people it will only be a small fuss. Its not like a riot where there's a bunch of people tooled up looking for trouble. Given the scenes in the east stand after the hearts game sending the polis in even our wee bit could have went tits and been dangerous. It never, becaue the polis sneaked in, first most of us knew anybody was arrested was when we seen the wee boy getting taken out the gate.
  5. section was bouncing again, even after 3-0. Think the atmosphere never really spread due to the section next to us being empty, usually afew folk in there joining in from time to time, seems to make a difference to get the singing going along the stand.
  6. You really are a terrible guy. The police are the police and wether or not there scared of the orks in the away end they should set about doing there fucking job. There was nothing sectarian about this either.
  7. aye that was a fucking joke. Absolute terrible policing too. Four polis to lift a wee boy then march him past the away support. Shouldn't have been getting lifted for that anyway.
  8. The put the prices up massively did they not? sure it was about £3 a pint last time I was in, thats city centre prices. From what I know they were spending big money on the acts they were putting on. Stuff like "show of the month" on a sunday night.
  9. Atmosphere is generally created through singing, you can't sing sitting down, can't get tall the colour with the flags sitting down. Infact you even need to stand to sing the good lords praises in church. I never said militant about safe standing either. I said militant about the standing issue i.e. standing in the current ground, and not sitting in the seats provided. And incase you've been too busy being a dick to notice we've been quite busy creating an atmosphere at Fir Park. Whilst standing up, it's against the law doncha know()
  10. I'm actually 23 and want the laws readjusted. The main body of lads that are trying to change the atmosphere at Fir Park and are militant about the standing issue are around this age. I don't think the guys behind the FSF are a bunch of 12 year olds. The FSF being the main body down south looking to force through change. http://www.fsf.org.uk/ I'd like to know why you think its a bad idea, without resorting to calling people 12 year olds or questioning their comprehension skills. Other than "it's against the law". It's a very good idea to allow responsible adults the choice as to how they watch their favourite sport. Given that teams of a comparable size in England offer this same choice, and teams elsewhere in Europe allow this freedom of choice.
  11. No, I fully understand the law dictates that you cannot stand at an SPL game. now, what's your answer to mine my question?
  12. is it too hard for you to understand the concept of change, and peoples desire for it? Motherwell are trying as much as they can to turn a blind eye to the heinous crime of standing at a football match, afew other teams have also done the same. Even the clubs want change.
  13. Stewards on the whole were on some kind of power trip today, believe it was a different match commander than usual.
  14. Cheers for the support, really good to see other parts of the stadium joining in more. The support from the rest of the fans has been great.
  15. Can I be the first to say that this, is absolutely ridiculous.
  16. Molde's stadium certainly looks the part from the outside. Inside it wasn't great. The terracing was good but under the stand in the are where the catering and toilets are housed was very very cramped. We could spend 24 million better elsewhere I can imagine.
  17. Chris Humphrey runs down the wing 'cos his manager tells him too. Who ever reported this as racist is an absolute coward and a bed wetter.
  18. not even a huge section of standing, say 2 sections, one either end of the east? that means there's nobody getting in the way of peoples view. And there would be an option of a standing area away from the traditional areas where it's maybe too boisterous for some people.
  19. you've got a bee in your bonnet about getting rid of the seats after they've been unbolted. Sell them, sure when love street was demolished they sold everything from the seats to the toilets. If not bung it all in landfill, or the spare seats could be stored somewhere within the ground and used to replace any damaged stock over future seasons.
  20. The AaFK lads made there own standing section with the permission of their club. Unbolted the seats basically, sure us in the end section could rustle up afew volunteers to do the same. I know how to use a spanner, I'm sure afew more do aswell.
  21. When do the lads in section E get our invitation to meet the security?
  22. SAFE STANDING! AGAIN! Fuck sake, we do not need to spunk money on a safe standing section! Shalke need one 'cos when they're in Europe they don't miss out on revenue in UEFA sanctioned games, their standing section holds 16,000 and can be converted to 8,000 seats. It works for big German teams who can pack them in for the Bundesliga and can pack them in for the Champions League and some international games too. We do no need safe standing.
