  1. Really pleased with this. Sutton wouldn't bully defenders, Higdon will. We've lacked a spot of malice up front, maybe Higdon will miss afew games through suspension though, that may be a problem.
  2. Partick Thistle get special editions from Puma do they not? That really nice blue vintage looking effort and the pink camo thing spring to mind.
  3. This not the same set up that put Airdrie under? No major shareholder= no major investment. Season ticket money plus X amount to keep the club afloat/ have the privilege of having a say in how the club is run. Our attendances are going down, the supports getting older all the time. Less youngsters coming along means a long term future would be in doubt. Btw what has having a fan on the board got us? Can somebody tell us what this has achieved?
  4. It's fair to say after being called a taigy bastard this year it would seem that I'm also the stereotypical well fan that makes the rangers fans call us tims without the bus fare. I'm not a member of a lodge and have never sang three in a row. As for belonging in the Coopland road I'll decline, as they don't sing Motherwell songs either. All in all your an idiot. Love John xxxx
  5. Guys, seriously, thank you to everybody that made today's display possible. From those that gave their time up on friday to help us and to those who chipped it a 10 pence or a 10 pound note along the way. means alot. cheers, the bois.
  6. Oh dear bad men sing bad songs. Well seeing all the "motherwell fans" shut up in the ground.
  7. This "in house design department" any chance of a job? I'm a design student, could do with a little experience geez a shout?
  8. Maybe not cost, but pressing a badge will take alot less time than embroidering.
  9. I know where he drinks, it's fair to say burds are hangin aff him already.
  10. can the club not just send people out on the street and sell stuff? problem solved surely?
  11. Being fair to the lad that seems what the GB have been doing when the polis wade in on them. Strength in numbers and the fact that they are a group makes it a bit different. Hence their mass walk out at their semi, all about mentality.
  12. Know where your coming from there, but if they fill their end and we don't then there's still more of them than there is us, and the neutrality is again warped. Given the FA cup is the weekend before there's the chance for the SFA to use this as an advert for the game up here, doubt they'd want empty seats.
  13. I'm not saying that at all, just that 16,000 seems fair enough, given that in recent big games we've not exceeded that.
  14. People should wind their neck in over the 50/50 split. We've dipped below 4000 at some games this season. Would rather a stadium packed with genuine fans than day trippers.
  15. Heaven forbid people having fun and enjoying themselves before a football match. They're marching through an area thats mostly derelict land/ M74 construction. Any pictures I've seen of the GB corteo haven't featured booze, granted a smoke bomb, but where's the harm there? Don't see why your on such a high horse about them.
  16. A couple of hundred people go to the pub before the game, then leave together for the game. It's good organisation and a little craftiness that let's them get away with that. Not fear of anti irish racism.
  17. is this a battle of wit and guile?
  18. "digest" the message" needing "wit and guile" to be a proper fan. ye, I look like a complete wanker.
  19. Should add, I mean not easy in a lazy sense, just in terms of trying to get as many people.
  20. Doing it on street seemed easier for us, given the numbers involved. We could have people on every way into the ground, just would have been abit easier if we'd have had the extra one on the que at the east turnstiles maybe. The street corners are a little easier as we're catching everybody going by with out needing too many people behind each gate, not so much a problem in the East but with several wee blocks of turnstiles in the O'Donnell and Cooper getting people there on time and organized maybe a struggle.
