wellowell 166 Report post Posted September 10, 2016 Thing is there changing to Friday night would that not be worse for Aberdeen fans I'm sure both clubs will discuss and do what they think is best for the fans but to be honest I've no idea what that is
Donaldo87 107 Report post Posted September 23, 2016 Surprised that all the xmas eve fixtures are not at 1pm or something. Still a chance it could get moved to Friday night or sat lunchtime for tv. Only game likely to be picked is us or Accies v Celtic...maybe both. Smart man Friday December 23, 2016 Ladbrokes Premiership Motherwell v Aberdeen Live on BT Sport, kick-off 7.45pm Saturday December 24, 2016 Ladbrokes Premiership Hamilton Academical v Celtic Live on Sky Sports, kick-off 12.30pm
steelboy 1,307 Report post Posted September 23, 2016 There should be a decent atmosphere regardless of what Aberdeen bring. They haven't been bringing a big support regularly for a while now. It'll be interesting to see how many Hearts bring next Friday.

superward 864 Report post Posted September 23, 2016 Glad we are not playing on Xmas Eve anymore. Even though it is for TV.

sbcmfc 354 Report post Posted October 4, 2016 Hamilton v Motherwell on Hogmanay now kicking off at 1pm rather than 3pm. Head to head with the old firm game on the tv. Not sure what if any impact that will have on the attendance.
superward 864 Report post Posted October 4, 2016 Head to head with the old firm game on the tv. Not sure what if any impact that will have on the attendance. None I would hope. If folk stay home to watch another SPFL team, be it Centicing or Rangers or anyone, then we really are fighting a losing battle.
CrosshillWell 77 Report post Posted October 4, 2016 Hogmanay games. Mental. Old firm Hogmanay game. Insanity.

Agree, but a lot of folk would've watched that on tv before heading along. Won't have a great affect on our travelling support I wouldn't imagine, more likely to affect the home gate, with casual/neutral punters giving it a miss. (I think accies pick up a bit of support through their kids teams etc.) Point I'm making is, it gives folk an excuse not to go, in a climate where we should be doing everything to get folk in grounds. steelboy 1,307 Report post Posted October 4, 2016 The police probably don't want our fans coming out to the Peacock Cross area at 5PM. It's usually bedlam up there after an Old Firm match.

daver 201 Report post Posted October 19, 2016 You can see why the club has needed short term loans from the Well Society at the beginning of the year when we can have a shortage of games in January.
