Honestly I’m not sure it was, O’Donnell seems to take more stick at times because he’s an international player. Expectations on him are always higher and everything he does is scrutinised. Players are with Motherwell because they have their limitations, they would not be with us otherwise. Nominations for player of the month include Bevis, Goss, and Lamie, all have improved but all have mistakes and inconsistency in them. I think the majority of the squad this season are decent players, we don’t actually have many complete duds and I can live with that.

My dad is right into his local history and picked up this post card of Motherwell (Merry Street) post-marked 1904, when MFC was just 18 years old. It's the year after they were promoted into the first division after finishing second division runners up in 02/03. Apparently we were rotten in 03/04 so I'm assuming the sender is referring to the first half of season 04/05. The back reads "This is another for your collection, what do you think of Motherwell's team it is much better than it was last year. Tell Archie, Maddock got the sack". We were wondering, is Maddock someone associated with the football club? I'm thinking it's not, but thought someone here might have an answer.

Aye he should have had two assists this week and had a lot of chances which he should have done better with. He's keeping defences occupied and allowing Watt to find space. If we can find a better striker then bring him in but KVV is doing enough to justify his place at the moment.

Right, so I've noticed that every time I gob off about team selection or our chances, prior to the event, I'm always 100% wrong and end up looking like a tit. So, I'd just like to state on record that that team selection is shite and we'll get humped.
