  1. Motherwell Football Club will collapse, fade into obscurity, wither away and die if we lose Jim O'Brien this summer in the eyes of some on here. I actually heard someone shout "well played J.O.B." from the East Stand last Sunday...J...O...B...what the fuck??!! Maybe J.O.B. will at least have the decency in him to release a charity single on our behalf if he is going to move onto bigger and better places like Pittordrie or similar.
  2. Totally agree with the original post. Maybe it is just me, but I think the whole forum has went a bit shite of late. I used to go into work and find myself spending a good hour or so reading this place, now I'd rather just get on with my work.
  3. We would have won by more if Ruddy was in goals.
  4. Fuck paying interest rates, I was talking about the three month interest free installments they done for the half season tickets only a few months ago. The club have kinda set a precedent by doing that I feel.
  5. If Jim O'Brien is the calibre of player that the Old Firm is now going targeting then the standard of the Scottish game has fallen further than I ever imagined possible. Does a lot of running around for little end product. I wouldn't be surprised if he got a sore face after the game on Sunday there, the way he was shouting and abusing his team mates, acting like the spoilt kid at school who brings the ball to play with and expects to get it every move forward. Reminded me a little of Skippy the way he used to go on when things weren't going his way.
  6. Purely due to the fact they already introduced an installment deal for the half season tickets at Christmas there, I'm fully expecting there to be a similar option for the full season ones this year. Also would be expecting, as mentioned, prices frozen and early bird incentives. Would be commercial suicide to increase season ticket prices the way the economy is and that fact that the arse is already falling out of the Scottish game at an alarming rate. A suitable and sufficient playable surface would of course be an added bonus.
  7. We need a .... ::throwing-the-toys-out-the-pram-smiley::
  8. Cannae find it now, but there was a recent BBC article where Lambert was quoted as saying he had no intention of coming back to Scottish football in the near future talking about the goldfish bowl mentality, lack of competition etc etc. Think he's happy at Norwich for now, he's certainly taking them in the right direction.
  9. Why let the facts get in the way of a good rumour...!!
  10. Right back at ye' knobrash...!! (Note glaring ommision of emoticon) *Was meant for Cakes but see Frazzles just posted in between!!!
  11. There's an almost Celtic fan level of paranoia in that statement, Wellfan1984.
  12. I like how in this forum you can basically call anyone a c**t, but so long as you put a or a next to it, it's cool.
  13. +1 This years away top is by far my favourite kit of recent years, but even with BOGOF I'm not prepared to part with cash after the numerous reports of the quality, or lack of, I've read on here. If only it was made of the same material as one of those Celtic tops that didnae need to washed twice in the same year, then that would be different.
  14. The fact we've got these two guys from Everton can only be a good thing for us. Four loan signings from one EPL team in the one season strikes me that we've built up a decent relationship with them...now if they can only let us loan the next Jack Rodwell or Dan Gosling every other season, I'd be more than happy with that!
  15. I dunno, fair point. I've not been following much of the Championship Can only go by the stats on their official site and was just wondering.
  16. Just been on bcfc.co.uk and see he's only scored three goals in twenty two games of which eleven were from the bench. Not been a great return in his first season.
  17. I'd love to see some photos from the Albania trip. Was anyone from on here over there?
  18. Three pints before, three pints after, a pie and a bovril should just about cover it I'd say.
  19. Excellent, we'll get to stretch our unbeaten run to fifteen live on telly....!!!! ::kissofdeathsmiley::
  20. ...and another thread descends into farce.
  21. So, back to discussing St. Mirren away then, the game was shit, eh?
  22. Hammell obviously must have had a bad game in Albania. Decorator was there you know.
  23. Chris Houghton was definately (definitely?) sitting behind me in the main stand on Tuesday night, sitting next to Chris Woods. That's Andy Dorman, John Ruddy and now Mark Reynolds I've heard he was there to watch.
