Considering how many of them there are, theyd be as well just seeing if they could get a lift on the team bus.

Not a player, I know, but I always gad a faint suspicion that Jock Wallace may have had a wee leaning towards Rangers.

Yea but for some stupid reason can only recall to play for under 20s not first team .
They can play for our 20s at any time during a development loan as long as it doesn't clash with a game for their loan club (hence why Celtic often play our 20s on a Friday so we can't use our loaned-out players if they have a game less than 24 hours later for their loan club's first team). If we want them to come back and be part of our first team match day squad, we have to formally recall them, if the contract allows.

Our team done us proud last night on the park, they battled, they harried, they made it as difficult as possible for the team we were playing against who have almost 20 times our resources. Celtic managed to come away with a draw, aided and abetted by a complicit referee who was desperate to keep this domestic unbeaten run going.
The fans done their bit too, the atmosphere generated was brilliant at times.
In my opinion though the Club let the team down, we are at such a disadvantage playing against this lot that we should be doing everything we can to make Fir Park as intimidating as possible, not inviting their fans into the Cooper Bar, not giving them half of the main stand, ensuring that their vocal support is dispersed throughout the South Stand rather than being allowed to do whatever they want, not allowing a fucking arsehole with a celtic scarf on to do the half-time draw, and fire a microphone in his face so that he can tell us all about how great Celtic are.
I get the financial implications of not allowing Celtic fans into the Main Stand and the Cooper Bar, but I've no idea how any Motherwell fan can be comfortable with the situation.
And also in the Centenary Suite. At the very least, if we are going to sell hospitality to opposition fans, and especially those as arrogant as they are, they should be reminded that they will be sitting among the home support and need to tailor their behaviour accordingly. Sitting beside and in front of several of them last night, we were subjected to them shouting their team on constantly and celebrating a penalty won by one diving cheating fanny and scored by another as if they had just beaten Barcelona, jumping around and roaring without caring who they were amongst. With their customary arrogance, they blithely ignored anything shouted at them to remember where they were, and one of them even offered a square go to a Well fan who told them what he thought as he was leaving with his kids. Typical of them, but at the very least more needs to be done with stewarding if we are to sell to them in future.

Had to work on Saturday, but it looked like Bad News Bowman had the deisred effect when he came on in the second half.
Or, as we can now lovingly refer to him, our Spanish import, El Bowman.

They are the poster boys for our problems in Scottish society, and they make sure they profit from that to the full.

I really would love to see us hammer them.
Just for accuracy, I believe the collect term in their case is "batter them".

Steven McLean is the ref.

Where is the location of the pre Patrick game training taking place?
On the main rugby pitch at Dalziel Park - the one with the stand, beside the astro.

So if McGinn is worth at least £2.5m , you have to say Campbell is a £3m player!
Great start by the young lad. Just hope his/his family's heads arent turned too early by the inevitable transfer speculation and interest from the ugly sisters/england
Don't worry, his family are exactly the sort of people to keep him grounded. Lovely people with a realistic outlook and values. Just the sort of backing you need for a young player.

Allan Campbell, without doubt.

£1.56 million, fuck me.
You're either shocked or that's an advert for a really expensive prostitute.

Game is on periscope. Nice play by Newell to set up the equaliser.
Wasn't Newell, it was the left wing back.

Andy Devlin Tweeting that Blackburn have made a bid for Heneghan that we are about to reject.

Poor Charles Dunne, only player to start who hasn't got a vote - can't be any members of his family on this website.
WishyWell jnr only got a family vote for his debut. The rest of the time he'll have to earn it

Not sure but think it's the club 100 bus that's cancelled as couldn't get bus on ferry as full . Not heard anything about club bus being cancelled but could be wrong
The club bus is definitely cancelled. I had booked seats on it but got an email to say that they hadn't had enough of a response so had to cancel it.
-
The club's bus? I was going to make a call on it this week.
Yes, unfortunately so. I got a decent deal to take a car-load on the ferry, but it would have been far easier to sit back and let a bus driver do the driving.
-
Bus cancelled due to lack of numbers.

That's brilliant. Love it!

Don't really have an issue with fans sitting in the opposite end. So long as they ain't acting like complete knobs.
Unfortunately...

When it comes to petty point scoring on grammar you have to wonder.

Indeed. Though if we want to be totally accurate, it should be re-sign.

I see. Thought we would be all over those teams like a rash making sure boys are flagged up to the academy.
Looking back to when my boys were that age, and I guess it would be much the same now, if anyone is outstanding at our community side then it is almost certain that they will also be playing boys club football and will have been noticed there already by our scouts (and those of other clubs). That is not to say that the occasional one is not noticed at a the weekly community sessions or holiday courses and picked up from there on the recommendation of a community coach (I know of at least one who was), but that is very rare - almost all boys who are signed pro-youth are scouted from boys clubs or picked up after being dropped from other pro-youth teams.

Thats down to the new guy as well. He looked at the equipment he had inherited, got rid of what he thought was unnecessary and used the budget that this made available to him to bring in what he thought would let him do a better job.
