Seedorf challenges Hanson for the high ball that’s why his headed clearance is not very good and falls to Whyte, and his momentum carries him to where he ends up. If you look at where he is when Whyte strikes the ball he is not in the keepers direct line of vision and as has been previously said once Hanlon touches the ball he could be deemed to be onside. The linesman does not put his flag up straight away and IMO the ref and the linesman new that the ball took a deflection but did not know who it came off and erred on the side of safety and just gave offside. It’s over now some you win and some you loose just hope the next tight call goes in our favour

For me there’s not a lot he can do with the back four at the moment DM I’d play Barry Maguire with O’Hara Campbell and Turnbull in front of him Upfront any two from Watt/Lang/Long/White Oh and by the way well still get humped Horgan is going to have afield day no matter what wing he plays on

Unless Lang comes up trumps just like 2 years ago with Turnbull ( remember people were crying out for him to play ) and it was only due to an injury that Robinson finally played him and the boy did so well that he could not drop him. Just watched the highlights the defending for their 2 goals … … 1 pass takes out Campbell O’Hara and Grimshaw for their 2nd no communication at all ……… same with lead up to their penalty Long and Campbell going for the same ball amateurish is not the right word for that type of defending.

The natural defensive midfielder at the moment is Barry Maguire …… was groomed for it for 2 years but obviously Robinson doesn’t fancy him

In hindsight think we went about pre season the wrong way In normal times we would have had 2 teams playing different opposition with players getting 70 or 80 minutes in each game From memory think there was only 1 game where players ( apart from Carson ) got any more than 45 minutes. Should have had an idea os his best eleven and concentrated in getting game time into there legs Having said that it was the same for everyone … … … but we look to be off the pace of the game in the 2 games to date ie.not sharp enough

Agree with most of what you are saying but to me he does not seem to learn from his mistakes and is very slow to adapt to righting them or he’s just stubborn Grimmy as much as I like the guy and he must be great to have around the squad is not a right back ( played a part in the goal by being the wrong side of Reynolds ) This playing wingers on the wrong side then changing it with on either Long/Watt going on to the wing Playing Long as a lone striker when everyone and their granny know he cannot play that role We have so many players I don’t think he knows his best eleven and this has been compounded ( not all his fault due to current circumstances) by playing players for 45 minutes during pre season. Not saying it was right but The Rangers played the same team in just about all their games with most players playing 70 - 80 mins while we chopped and changed all over the place.
