  1. In his own words, "It was like watching Brazil." I never thought Motherwell could be used in the same sentence as Brazil never mind be compared to them
  2. Why did Blackpool invite Hibs down last year? Yeah they are a reasonably bigger club but they would still take roughly the same numbers as we would.
  3. In my opinion, it's good too play teams from lower leagues and royally thump them, it's always good for confidence gubbing anyone four or five nil. Also, I like the sound of Leeds at Elland Road or Blackpool at Bloomfield Road. We could take a fair crowd down there especially to Blackpool as many could take their families
  4. The other shit thing is, there's no MOTD on Saturday night
  5. He used to play for the mhankies and Middlesborough, didn't he?
  6. My uncle was his cousin so I had the pleasure of meeting him and he did seem like genuinely nice guy. Although he did become a bit of a wank when he left to go to Aberdeen.
  7. On the way into Hampden, the guy who lives across the street from me said that Motherwell were the first team to do the bouncey and that he remembered doing it in the shed. Were we actually or is the guy talkin garbage?
  8. I was on a mini-bus which left from Overtown Community centre. The guy who ran it lives in my street and I knew most of the people on it. He'd ran it to the two semis before and it was £7 for adults and £5 for kids. There was a good bit of banter on the way in, especially when we passed the Cross Keys in Wishaw. We followed the buses infront of us and ended up at the next to the Victoria Hospital. When walking to the game Celtic casuals appeared from nowhere and tried to have a fight with the 'Well fan. They were herded to the other side of the street by the coppers so it didn't really kick off. The rain didn't really put a dampner on things for me until the 2nd goal went in to be honest. For me personally, I seen it as a great day out apart from the result and as the saying goes, there's always next year
  9. Take it he wasn't too good either?
  10. Would take a miricale for Airdre to get back into the top flight. It's a pity because I reckon many would regard as one of the best derbies in scotland
  11. Don't think I've ever been as happy when a manager resigned as I was when I heard Malpas left
  12. Thanks for pointing that out, from what I heard he was never a good manager anyway
  13. As I can only remember back to El Tel, I don't know an awful lot about the three before him. In his first season, Mark McGhee made us play some of the best attacking football in the league, the way he handled Phil O'Donnell's death should also be commended. Although Gannnon was a bit of a headcase, he did bring in some of great players ie Humphry, Coke, Ruddy, and I have to admit, before all of the stories about him came out , I liked him. Paw Broon got us out of a gutter when he came last December and we went on a 10 game unbeaten run, also under his tenure we produced the arguebly best comeback football has ever seen. Stuart McCall has taken us from strength to stregth since he has taken over. Top six finish, a convincing win over the mhankies and ofcourse our first Scottish Cup final for 20 years. So who has been your favourite of Boyle's appointments
  14. Celtic's defence isn't up to much, so if we went out and attacked...
  15. Yeah, I don't blame the club either mate, I just wondered why there was an investigation in it
  16. My friend also told me his bus was attacked by celtic fans
  17. Read on the club website that the club are investigating issues surrounding the buses to the final. Having a not travelled with the club was wondering why the investigation is taking place.
  18. I'm not really to keen on the puma strips to be honest, the Canterbury one from 2009-10 was the best one in a while in my opinion
  19. That is both the best and funniest way to describe them lol
  20. Did Fergus McCann not try something like this with Celtic when he took over in '94 or suhin?
  21. I certainly don't think the "best fans in the world" would detest the wearing of poppies on their football shirt or disrupting a minute silence in memory of dead servicemen and women. They are actually so small minded, a Celtic Player was awarded the Victoria Cross during WW1. Billy Connelly one of their most famous supporters served time in the Army and there have been Scottish Soldiers who where killed in the last year who were celtic fan. And I certainly don't think the "best fans in the world" would sing songs about the terrorist groups
  22. 1.Old Firm day-Doesn't affect Motherwell in anyway-I would sway to the Celtic side of things 2.Old Firm day-Possible title clincher-Rangers win the league=Motherwell getting into rangers-I would want Rangers to win
  23. Wouldn't call myself a sympathiser, more of a motherwell fan brought up with a Celtic Dad
  24. When someone asks me who do I want to win, Celtic or Rangers, 9 times out of 10, I'd say Celtic because of family loyalties. The 1 time I'd say Rangers would be because them winning would be helping motherwell. Just becasue I have a preference does not make me any less of a Well fan, which is what I was trying to say.
  25. I would say most of them are alright in person, its just the minority, who go online, who are dicks
