Ahh the good old Hokey Cokey thread where we all become experts in picking a team and building a squad on a budget. The team have only reported back to pre-season today and as always the same with Motherwell there are forever going to be players in and out on trial... McFadden on a short term deal - gives us a massive boost in the champions league and the start of the season, bothered if he doesnt stay past then? No not really. The only thing we can do is actually wait until its official we've signed/sold anyone!!

This would be a great shout. Freebies and no doubt it would be just a simple case of allocating 1 set of digs as apposed to 2, free agents also and no doubt wont be requesting too high a wage. Both had good youth careers and are no doubt decent players - with ability!! Id be keen!!

In the long term i think NEWCO will benefit everyone... IF "The Rangers" are allowed to stay in the SPL then they will struggle with a shitey team and be embarrassed and then the SPL will possibly loose its attraction. IF "The Rangers" go to the 3rd division and win the league every year then; a) Benefit the lower league teams giving them 4 glamour matches a season. b) Allow the SPL to become more competitive with hopefully some teams stepping up to the plate in attempts to win the league. c) Youth players at Rangers will have a chance to show and grow through the divisions helping Scottish football. d) When/If "The Rangers" get back into the SPL, the prospect of an Old Firm match will be anticipated and well received world wide. But hopefully by then other teams are more competitive and less scared of the Old Firm dominance, helping scottish football in the long run....... This is of course my opinion. Financially if we play well on the park we dont need Rangers... Its up to us on the park and off it if we choose NO

I'd like to see another "big" striker... Higdon obviously isn't the fittest, especially coming to the end of the season he looks sluggish. Maybe another Jukey signing or even a Blackman... In Europe its going to be solid defenders and powerful frontmen who will get us through. We have the midfield hustle!!

Id say losing in last years cup final gave them the drive... Wins at home to Hibs, higgys hat trick, Dunfermline and Hearts getting thrashed putting 3 past them!! Signing Ojamaa lifted our imaginations which drove the team... Proud season indeed!!

I think Forbes leaving was on the cards... I think the early run he got in the team went to his head and is attitude wained!! Wish him all the best but in comparison to midfielders we have seen move on, i think Marc Fitzpatrick was a lot better than him and he only went to Ross County!!

I have been to numerous games down south where they stad up, gather together, stand in the aisles... The stewards/police and clubs allow this. In some stands it is done in front of the police control boxes and yet it is not frowned upon, more or less encouraged!! High ticket prices and heavy policing will kill the game. And..... they let them buy alcohol at the grounds!!

Has Clarkson ever received a cap since he moved away?? Maybe have the Scott McDonald arguement, should he have chose Scotland??
