Both penalties were rightly awarded, Lasley stuck his arm out for the first and why did he not just clear the ball for the second instead of taking it back towards goal.
They did their homework on us and caught us on the break from our first corner! Do we not learn! McCall in his interview yesterday said we need to learn from previous Euro games and not get caught on the break..... Were the players not listening.
Steve Hammell was left exposed on numerous occasions and they should have scored two in the second half from crosses from their right. The penalty came from him being left with two players to mark, Vigurs ball watching and not tracking back.

Faddy failed his medical at Motherwell last year and by all accounts would fail it again and also any other club interested in signing him.
Motherwell took the gamble because of who he is and what the club means to him. Expect to see him gracing the Fir Park turf wearing C&A next season.

Tynecastle last day of the season May 1982 we had already clinched the Div 1 title. Hearts needed a win to go up as well. A single Willie Irvine goal and Killie winning meant the Jambos were resigned to another year in the second tier. Did not enjoy sprint back to my dads car after the game however!

I have been going to fir park for years and would hate us to leave for a ikea built stadium like st mirren but I would be happy for us to move to a stadium like Aalesunds fk's Color Line Stadion, but we simply do not have the money and the council will certainly not be willing to lend Motherwell Fc millions of pounds to build a stadium that would be half fill most games, when there is an all time high in unemployment especially youth and there are people living in this constituency that are living below the breadline.However IF ALOT of people/companies are willing to make donations I am sure we can put them into a savings account like and let the interest increase the value of the savings until we have no choice but to leave or redevelop in so many years time and this money would help a wee bit in the money situation.

The Bank of England base rate is 0.5% and has been for ages, not really the best option.
The club need to look at all avenues of funding and if that means the stadium is called Cash Converters Arena then so be, does it really matter what is called so long as its fit for purpose.

If we are knocking back offers, the board obviously has a price tag in mind. Broadcasting that to the media is meaningless.
And how exactly is that meaningless. It lets people know what is acceptable and if they are serious about trying to buy our players then show us the colour of your money and not try it on with stupid bids.
