  1. Go find me a post where I'm blaming the display organisers. You too Iain. Brain power indeed.
  2. Being total idiots? Aye. Sweeping Move is making my point really well. Displays looked good, but can't help but feel they would've looked a lot better in the DC/South due to the low roof on the East.
  3. *awaits the "you c***s huv tae moan aboot sumhin" posts from the inebriated east stand fans*
  4. Expect any less of that corner of the stand?
  5. Pricing it all up for every possibility (there were only 4 teams, playing each team 1 of 4 days), so 16 rough guides. Pretty basic procurement stuff.

Good job in supporting the club in it's time of need you tight, babyfaced goon.
  7. As much as folk need to start turning up, getting behind the club now, everyone also needs a slight change of view regarding the team. We're no longer in the position to fight off L1 or L2 players, the squad will suffer, but so will every club in the SPL. i.e. No moaning at the BSP players we sign.
  8. They can't implement an SPL2 before the start of the season. It'll require a huge amount of restructuring, meetings and votes.
  9. Dundee United tonight met with Supporters' groups to discuss the newco situation prior to the all club vote on the proposal to transfer Rangers share on 4th July. Following what was a robust and constructive meeting, the Club's position on how we will vote was substantiated by the viewpoint of the various supporters groups. The meeting finished with all in agreement as to what the correct course of action would be.The Board of Directors of Dundee United are unequivocal in the belief that a form of sporting punishment must form part of the reasoning behind any decision made and, therefore, cannot vote the newco into the SPL. General sporting integrity and, more importantly, the integrity of Scottish football must also play a significant part in the decision making process. It is our belief that any form of sporting punishment must be unambiguous in the message it displays. The financial well being of the Club, both in the short and long term, must also be at the forefront of our thoughts. We would encourage our supporters to purchase season ticket books as a show of support to our Club. The Board of Directors will act in the best interest of Dundee United and our supporters and Scottish football on this matter. The financial consequences of not showing this support for our Club are extremely serious.
  10. I was under the impression that all clubs will meet before the 4th and discuss their votes, walk into the SPL meeting having already made a decision. All clubs vote one way (the majority from the previous meeting) with some positive/negative PR having been avoided. Should say that it's an impressive move by the club.
  11. It always happens on here. A million different sub-forums and trying to keep everything in as little threads as possible just totally stifles discussion. All that had to be done was an Admin editing the OP of the imminent announcement thread with Motherwell's post and let the discussion continue in that thread.
  12. "Jon Worthington is OK as well. He's not really a goalscorer or wasn't with us. Constantly plays sideways passes, never forward. He's just one to break the play up. We got rid as he wasn't really what we needed and didn't seem League One standard either. Tries hard." From an Oldham fan.
  13. Sorry, but this board is hardly a hive of activity. There are topics last commented on in May on the front page. I *think* a few threads for different discussions might just fit.
  14. It's either a 'no' vote, or we can ditch all this fan ownership bullshit. You pay for the shares, we make the decisions. Could see it coming a mile off.
  15. I can only hope this is a joke. Otherwise you should probably wear pads and a helmet at all times. I take it this is the '3rd kit' so to keep the away kit at £40?
  16. I've heard Grella is off to PNE. If not, I'm sure it's another League 1 thread. In other news, Preston have signed 11 players and ex-well Brian McLean is on the transfer list.
  17. Just a technicality, courts have ruled that they aren't allowed to punish them in that way (transfer embargo). So the process has restarted and they'll be punished according to the SFA guidlines (suspension, Cup suspension, league expulsion or fine).
  18. Death Squad? What is this 'Death Squad'?
