  1. Thought he was highly regarded at Coventry? They just that skint?
  2. I don't think it'll come to that. I'm fairly certain Lionel will go out right, Faddy out the left with ZFA dropping to the bench and a traditional 4-4-2 with Las/Carsy in the middle.
  3. They'd need to find him first
  4. At home to the lowest ranked team possible please!
  5. Which goals? Not doubting you, just curious...
  6. Disagree, think Lawson's been quite good when I've seen him. At the same time pleased for Carsy to get a start. Mon the 'Well!
  7. It's Alan Gow is who we should re-sign!
  8. I try not to read your posts after your whole "I'M NOT COMING BACK ON HERE" only to re-surface a week later. And if you read my post on the game today, there was plenty of criticism of the team in there.
  9. For anyone not at the game who was wanting to know if it was as bad as it sounded, it really was. Passing straight to Caley players, route 1 stuff to Sutton's face, absolutely no creativity or penetration, it was really fucking bad today. McHugh tried for 45 minutes but to no avail, Arnier looked dangerous and willing when he came on. McFadden was piss poor, and Vigurs was even worse. Lawson played well, not sure why he was took off, but Carsy was just as good if not better when he came on. Defensively we didn't do too much wrong I don't think. Don't know who was marking Foran for the goal (great header btw) and their 2nd goal was well worked but could've easily been cut out. Blame lies with McCall for me today. McFadden is wasted out the right, Vigurs is not a winger, I loved Sutton the first time but he's proving to be a poor signing so far. All in all it was a rubbish day for the 'Well fans. Couple of big games coming up. A right winger is a must ASAP. Would also consider dropping Faddy and Vigurs but who do we replace them with? Also, took my mrs today for her first ever game, asked her after who her favourite player was and she said "Paddy McFadden" PS - we have some right fuckin rockets in our support. Edit - forgot to say, the best part of today was Keith Lasley going absolutely fuckin mental at the ref for not awarding us what appeared to be a stonewaller. Las was great today IMO. Still a couple of years left in him.
  10. See my rule's the opposite, I never bet on my own team! I'll be sticking Caley on the coupon at that price tomorrow...
  11. If I were the gaffer I'd drop Faddy, and I'd have Lawson in there. Think we'll win this one, 2-0. Fuckin hope so as my Caley supporting pals are becoming unbearable.
  12. Fairly certain that we bill Aberdeen for that. It used to happen all the time during OF games IIRC.
  13. The biggest disappointment for me over the campaign has just been the total anti-climax of it all. Just with the draw after being so close to what would've been an amazing trip, and the total lack of belief that we could have done something against the Russians, to now being out. I think we'll be in Europe next year, just hope we give it a good go and it doesn't turn out to be a wet sponge like this year.
  14. 50/1 on Betfair. Still not even remotely close to what it should be. Tempted by them at 1.74 though,..
  15. Any kind soul able to tell me what odds we are to win tonight, and to go through?
  16. I see where you're coming from with that Al but on the other hand you could argue that despite being minging in the first leg big Sutton came closest to scoring by smacking the post. Vigurs gave the ball away a fair bit in the first leg but also had around half our attempts on goal, and isn't afraid to shoot. Added to the fact that McFadden can be awful for 95% of a game and provide 2/3 moments of awesomeness that can change the game on it's head. We need goals and these 3 guys seem most capable of providing them. Just seems to me that we've chucked in the towel with only 2 goals in it.
