As I say, Saturday was the first time I've properly seen the big man, and he appeared to misjudge a few.

Apart from the Europa League games, I've not actually seen Ruddy play until Saturday there. Good shot stopper aye, but for a big guy he came and flapped at about 4 crosses.

Giles Coke just oozes fucking class. His total "who's this guy" approach to Scott Brown was fantastic, and about 4 times Archie MacPherson shouted "brrrrilliant tackle from Coke there!"

Outstanding. From start to finish, we were fucking brilliant today. I don't mean in terms of quality of football (that was excellent, mind). I mean in terms of how brave we were, how professional we were, how fearless and how passionate we were. We defended immensely and I'm so fucking proud of our boys. We were just excellent!

Agreed. Threads like this aren't the place to be airing such opinions. But that's just my opinion.

A couple of goals? From where?? We'll be lucky if we manage to score one on Saturday let alone a couple. McManus and Caldwell will have Jutzeiwickz (sp?) and Sutton in their back pocket all game. Say what you like about them, they're both class defenders (see McManus' performance against Japan and Caldwell's awards last year). Defensively I know we're solid but Scott McDonald will more than likely score and McGeady & Maloney will cause us problems down the wing. I know I sound like a negative bastard and I hope to fuck I'm wrong, but I reckon we're in for a doing

He may not have said it yesterday morning, but he has indeed said it, and it sticks in the throat a little bit. Your 2nd paragraph kinda sums it up for me. And Haggis, you're not wrong, he is Charlton's player. But he plays for us.

He doesn't play for Charlton. He plays for Motherwell, on loan from Charlton. And I fully agree with Lobey D & MJC.

I reckon 4th is a more realistic option, however probably still a tad out of our reach. Hope I'm wrong though!
