  1. Go forth and multiply? I shall engage in a proper debate with you later. Wee bit busy at the moment.
  2. Well said Robyn, some folks just moan for the sake of it! The board will be in meltdown over the next few days coz we lost a game that was relatively meaningless.
  3. We're gonna get shagged I say.
  4. Embarrassed? I'd be fucking delighted if we qualify for Europe again, no matter how we did it! I would think that at least 90% of 'Well fans would agree with me..
  5. Lol, but EVERYBODY makes that joke, so I thought it was perhaps best to just point it out before it started.
  6. You've got 12 players there Neil..
  7. Personally I think the name he's lookin for is Chrissy Porter. How much did we sell him for? Bet we'd have made more keeping him and gettin into the top six..
  8. Agree with you there Mr Diggle. That is quite possibly the biggest lot of shite I have ever read on this site.
  9. I am all for freedom of speech. I am totally all for it. But when a clueless buffoon like you comes out and spouts utter drivel like this I feel the need to challenge it... 1) A right back at left back. Same fucking difference, Quinn had a good game. With McLean and Quinn we have two full backs who know how to attack AND defend. McLean was great at right back, and Quinn was solid at left back. 2) Klimpl, a defensive midfielder. Who would you have had in place of Klimpl? Fitzpatrick, Lasley or Malcolm? All defensive midfielders? Steven McGarry (nackered after 60 minutes)? Jamie Murphy (like 19 years old and not kicked a ball since October). 3) Three centre halves? McLean played right back, Craggs and Reynolds in the centre and Quinn out the left. I don't know how we played with three centre halves. Ofcourse he sent that team out today. A 4-4-2 with O'Brien, Hammell, Quinn and Hughes all able to get up and support the strikers. It's hardly a fucking ultra defensive system he played is it? The team was a little different, but the formation was the same we've played all season. We hardly rolled over today. Far from it. We were the better team for most of the game, St Mirren scored against the run of play and scored a peach towards the end. McGhee did fuck all wrong today. He picked the right team and the right formation, it's not his fault the players on the park failed to break down a well organised St Mirren side. Get off McGhee's back. He was not at fault for today. (in my opinion).
  10. You're absolutely right, shoulda read it first! I still feel that some of our fans are overreacting though.
  11. Totally agree, Hammell didn't have the best of times at left wing today, it was perhaps a choice between him and Fitzpatrick to start out wide today. I like Fizzy, but I think Hammell perhaps is slightly more attacking minded, so that could perhaps be why he played. He didn't do too badly, a couple of decent crosses etc, but I agree, not the best performance. I don't understand why coach "is never a left back". He had a good game today (I think so anyway, I've noticed a few people in other threads severely disagreeing with me), and I think that McLean at RB and Coach at LB gives us two excellent defenders who have the ability to get forward as well. You contradict your opinion of the game in your outburst about O'Brien, claiming that "if he's not playing well on one wing, why bother switching him out to the other?" yet also claiming earlier that it wasn't working for the whole team at half time, thus change was required. Again, I disagree with you and think O'Brien had a decent enough game. And I don't think the Hammell/Quinn debate was the reason we never came home with three points (!!!!!!!!!), I personally feel the reason we didn't win was because we've got two guys in the entire squad that can create anythin (Clarky and Hughes, but that's another debate).
  12. As much as I agree with the fact that people should still go, I don't agree with you claiming that it shows who the real fans are. People are obviously gutted that we've not made the top six, and if they don't want to go to watch us play five games which don't actually mean that much, it doesn't suddenly make them not real fans.
  13. I can't agree with anything you say. He played Hammell in midfield (!!!!!!) coz he obviously felt that Hammell and O'Brien offer a decent attacking threat, and we have two capable full backs to fill in. He played Coach at left back (!!!!!!) and, in my opinion, it worked. Coach had a good game. A couple of dodgy touches, but I thought he did really well. O'Brien also had a relatively good game, so I don't see what the problem is with switching wings. Changes, in my opinion, should not have been made at half time because it was clear to see we were pretty much in control of the game. Again, changes shouldn't have been made until the end of the game or until St Mirren scored, because we were the better team and they scored against the run of play. Edit, you're spot on Beesher, perspective is exactly what's required!
  14. Not even looked at the other threads yet, but I can guess what the general tone of the, will be. I also noticed a thread called 'Resign McGhee'. Jeeeeeeeesus, talk about an overreaction for fuck sake!

    St Mirren V Hibs

Three points and it's in the bag, Hibs won't beat Rangers. Mon the 'Well!

    Pearo

Ooofft, you could spot that joke coming a mile off!
  17. I don't understand the logic of putting Hammell or Reynolds on the left wing because they're left footed. Did Jim O'Brien not play left wing yesterday? And is he not right up there in the MotM poll? O'Brien does a superb job at left wing, Reynolds nearly moved to Rangers in the summer for millions because he's done a great job at centre half and Hammell has always been a left back. IMO those aren't the positions that need changed.
  18. We dominated first half, they dominated the early stages of the second half and it was pretty even towards the end of the game. Sounded like O'Brien was MotM.
  19. Two chances missed right at the death!
  20. Dons down to ten men!! Considine is off!
  21. Absolutely, wouldn't have it any other way.
  22. Biggest 45 minutes of the season coming up!
  23. Sounds like Aberdeen are there for the taking! Which means it'll be a draw.
