I completely agree, we seem to have so little composure on the ball. When we pick the ball up in midfield it's such a rush to go FORWARD that if we just slowed it down a little and played a sideways pass or two it'd allow the front three (who have tucked in) to get forward and actually give us an option. Grimshaw has been murder, and that first half performance from Shields is a perfect example of why the First Division isn't an absolute goldmine for talent like people seem to think. O'Hara on for Grimshaw and KVV on for Shields at half time would be ideal, instead we won't see that, we'll go 1-0 down after 60 minutes and make changes around 80 minutes and scrape a draw if we're lucky. It's so frustrating.

Lacking fluency in our passing, it's like an U14 game where it's 100 mile an hour and nobody can find a pass.

Slattery is the only midfielder who can play a searching pass. Would really like to see him pushed up the park and have someone else play in the holding role.

It really won't. He saved us from a downward spiral last season and we're mid table this season after a massive overhaul this summer. You think after a good start 4 losses would "crank up the pressure"? Come on man. Having said that, it's a shocker of a team in my opinion.

For the first time since I was about 13 I didn't watch the Dundee Utd game or read the match report. From what I gather we weren't very good though. I watched the highlights and both full backs had a shocker. Let's hope we see Carroll back in for this one. Would like to see us go 3-5-2 as well. Gonna go for a 2-0 win to us.

Mugabi would have had the pace to atone for being out of position. O’Donnell has been very poor lately and if I were the gaffer I’d have him benched, captain or not. Edit - when is the last time O’Donnell has put a genuinely decent cross into the box?

Completely agree, the Euros/World Cup is absolutely not 'turgid shite', as Weeyin has pointed out it's the St Mirren vs Ross County's of this world that would make your eyes bleed. Also, England being 1-0 up at home against Italy after 3 minutes of a major final and eventually losing on penalties after being ahead in the shoot out isn't entertaining?!?
