  1. Great result for the under-19s this afternoon. Good to see my work mate's son, Ryan Martin, on the scoresheet too
  2. 2-1 to the 'Well Ruddy Yassin Saunders Reynolds Hammell Hateley Jennings Coke O'Brien Sutton Lukas Think it will be a pretty close game with the 'Well midfield just having the edge over United midfield. Heading up on Saturday, Leaving 'Well about 11. Really looking forward to it.

    Paul Slane

    Thanks for the info 'Flow
  4. Great sport of baiting the currant buns at my work today. They were coming out with the usual excuses - Rangers were pish, Smith's tactics were all wrong, we were missing key players! (I didn't get that one). Even my boss (a big bluenose) was dumbstruck when I asked him if he enjoyed Motherwell's 'total football' on Saturday. And before anyone accuses me of getting carried away I'm realistic enough to know that the season is a marathon not a sprint. Can't until this Saturday and Tannadice. Mon the 'Well!!!!
  5. Great game today. Good performances all round. Good save from McGregor to deny O'Brien. Felt we dominated long periods of play with some great passing football however there were a few times the defence looked a bit exposed and it was up to Ruddy to save the day. Thought Jennings had his best performance so far for us. Hopefully he's coming on to his game now.

    Rangers

Giles Coke for me, just edging it over Hateley and O'Brien. Also though Jennings had his best performance so far for us.
  7. I'd love to see a 1-0 or 2-1 but I'd be well happy with a 1-1. Is Lafferty out following the ankle knock he picked up on Saturday with Northern Ireland?
  8. +1 Top 6 finish and a cup semi-final would do for me

    Signing #7

Looks like a good signing. Welcome aboard big man
  10. All the best to Chris and his missus
  11. Pretty gutted I'm not able to go to Aberdeen today due to family commitments. Saw the bus leaving the Bentley earlier and gave the lads a wave. Going with my earlier prediction, 2-1 to the 'Well MON THE 'WELL!!!!
  12. My heart says 2-0 but my head says 1-1 Fekk it, I'm going with 2-0 to the mighty 'Well with the same starting line up as last Saturday
  13. Great post. Very concise summary and I agree with your closing paragraph 100%
  14. How did I forget about that...DOH!!!
  15. Far better performance from Craigs today. Great to see him playing the ball on the deck instead of just booting it up the park. We need an experienced defender like him to encourage and compliment the young lads like Hutchinson and Saunders
  16. For me, Coke just edged it over O'Brien.
  17. Great result today and overall a great performance. Solid professional performances from every player on the park today. Great performances in particular from Saunders, Coke, Forbes,O'Brien and Sutton. Also thought Craigan was miles better than last week - good to see him passing the ball on the ground instead of booting it up the park. Slane also made an immediate impact when he came on - fekk knows why he didn't take a shot after his first run down the right. Only player I was slightly disappointed with was Jennings, he had some good touchs and tackles but there's still something missing. Hopefully he will come onto his game in the next few weeks. Looking forward to next Saturday already!!! Mon the 'Well!!!
  18. My workmate's son plays for the under-19s. His son has said that the training is a lot more intense that last year.Gannon has brought a specific fitness coach with him from Stockport and he is working with all the teams in training. He also said that Gannon and Ward have been at under-19s training more times this season already than McGhee/Leitch did in the whole of last season
  19. Ruddy Hately Hutchinson Craigan O'Brien Reynolds Coke Forbes Slane (if fit) Murphy Sutton 2-1 However I suspect Mr Gannon will suprise us again with his team slection and formation
  20. +1 Wish McGhee had done similar a few times last season
  21. Forbes for me although Coke had a good solid game in midfield. Also thought Humph changed the game when he came on
  22. Pretty much what I thought of the game as well. Good not to see the young boys' heads go down despite going a goal down twice. Hammell looked like a rabbit caught in the headlights a few times. I don't think he'll be playing next week. As for Dougie McDonald - fekkin joke!!
