  1. Like others on here, the person responsible for me becoming a 'Well fan in the first place will sadly not be at Hampden tomorrow. He won't be far from my thoughts all day, and while it promises to be a fantastic day regardless of the result, there will be more than a tinge of sadness he won't be a part of it.
  2. Transport police in Scottish Cup Final alcohol appeal
  3. Aye, seems a bit daft releasing it a matter of weeks after the cup final, especially as there are no 2010/11 shirts available to buy. I would certainly have bought one for wearing to the cup final but I won't bother now. Only Motherwell I suppose.

  5. Apologies if posted already, but details are now available from the Official Site. Clickster 1 Clickster 2
  6. Anyone know if there will be any sort of segregation in the pubs near Hampden? I think maybe the Mountford has done this in the past(???) Presumably the likes of Clockwork and Church on the Hill will be hoaching with Tims
  7. Presumably we'll get the whole West Stand (behind the goal) and a small allocation in the South Stand.
  8. I honestly don't think it would make much of a difference really.
  9. They're being published at 11am apparently. Seemingly we are at Parkhead on the last day of the season
  10. So is our ENTIRE North Stand allocation designated as a singing section? Or is there a non-singing section in the North too?
  11. Anyone who was there tonight care to summarise the other main points discussed?
  12. Motherwell, Motherwell Go for good health, be a winner as well.
  13. Motherwell v Dundee Utd was Saturday 16/04/11 at 3.00pm now Wednesday 06/04/11 at 7.45pm Presumably because one team will be in the Scottish Cup semis that weekend.
  14. Jeffers will use experience to fire Steelmen
  15. Francis Jeffers signsMotherwell are today delighted to confirm the signing of former England International striker Francis Jeffers. Jeffers, 30, who was most recently at Aussie A League club Newcastle Jets, has an impressive array of former clubs including Everton, Arsenal, Blackburn Rovers and Rangers and was capped at senior level by England in 2003, scoring on his debut against Australia. The Liverpudlian burst onto the scene back in the late 90’s with Everton before winning an £8million move to Arsenal and famously acquired the “Fox in the box” tag. He has also had spells at Charlton, Ipswich Town and Sheffield Wednesday in his thirteen-year career and will look to rediscover some of that early form in his five months at Fir Park. ‘Well boss Stuart McCall said, “Francis is an excellent player and someone we think will score goals in the Scottish Premier League. “When you look through the history of this football club, Motherwell have excelled with three types of players. The first is brining younger guys through – in recent times you have McFadden, Clarkson, Pearson and Quinn. “The second is taking players from England, giving them a platform, and propelling their career – again, you have recent examples with John Ruddy, Lukas Jutkiewicz, Giles Coke and other. “And finally, the other is taking guys who are at the latter stages of their career, and giving them a second wind. You need only look at Tommy Coyne, Owen Coyle, Willie Falconer and others. We hope Franny can get back to some of his early career form. There is absolutely no doubting his ability and in the conversations I’ve had with him, he seems really hungry for this challenge.”
  16. There's Montfords, which is near the Celtic end and usually has a separate area for each set of fans. I read on here that quite a few seem to be heading to the John Moore Wetherspoons pub in the city centre, not far from the Central Low Level entrance.
  17. Is Church on the Hill the one that used to be called Budda? Think that's where we're heading.
