Motherwell's demanding odyssey to Athens

Although an early Motherwell goal would obviously be ideal, I'd happily settle for going 1-0 up with say 10 mins to go. Would be interesting to see how the Greeks react.

Worst thing is, even after the tannoy announcement requesting it to stop, a couple of idiots continued to throw the paper on to the pitch.

Arrived at the ground at 7.20pm and still missed both the fans display and the kick-off. Queue at that point was round by the main entrance the POD Stand. Police and stewards said there was no chance of the kick-off being delayed. Apologies for the moan, but it didn't half put a dampener on what was supposed to be a great occasion. we all know Fir Park is getting on a bit, but I'm afraid the East Stand is no longer fit for purpose.

I realise the Europa League Play-off Round section is completely speculative as there is no way of predicting which teams will qualify for that round, but in general terms in looks like there is a decent chance of being drawn against a western European side - much more accessible than the likes of Kiev. Think I might be tempted to give the away CLQ a miss and hold out for the Europa play-off round.

So the games will take place on 31 July /1 August 2012 and 7/8 August. When will they decide if it will be the Tuesday or the Wednesday of either week? Will this be confirmed on Friday as well? Obviously this has implications when booking flights etc. Apologies if this has been asked before.

I would have thought that the SPL clubs (not just Motherwell) would be quick to distance themselves from that disgraceful document. The fact that only Aberdeen have made any sort of statement so far worries me greatly
