  1. Can we let this post die a death. The same stuff is being posted time and time again with Frazzle having to defend himself after every post. He gave an opinion, people disagreed with his opinion and told him so. That is the beauty of a living in a democratic country. Lets move on. PLEASE

  2. I've met most of the current squad and all seem reasonable guys, lived next to skippy and big freddy vindaloo from killie. Met the Ajax squad and almost ran them down (didn't realise that cars have right of way in Scotland) and also shared a sauna with Bayer Leverkusen, Sevilla and the ugly sisters when they play at Hampden. Big Mark Hately also seems a nice guy when he visits Fir Park.

  3. to be fair but you don't know how much ruddy, yassin and lukas are costing us. yassin was supposedly one of the top earners at charlton and even guys on the fringes at everton earn several thousand pounds a week. we won't be paying their full wages but we won't have them for free either and i doubt that they're relatively cheap. my guess is that we were well under budget and because of that gannon was able to bring in two fairly expensive loan deals before the window shut. for all the money we've spent this summer the only person we have a chance of getting a fee for is humphrey.

porter was a magnificent bit of business by mcghee, even taking into account wages and signing on fee we would still have made a net profit on him never mind almost 30 goals in 18 months. looking at gannon's signings coke and jennings are probably on fairly modest contracts with the intention of putting themselves in the shop window for a better move back down south next summer for free and yassin, lukas and ruddy are most likely off in january. add in the fact that o'brien, hammell, slane, lasley and mcgarry are all out of contract next summer and reynolds will be at the quinn/clarkson time to sell stage and we could be looking at even bigger summer of rebuilding in 2010.

    I'm depressed again !

  4. From Sporting Life......

Its fully accepted that the missile should never have been thrown but the highlighted parts of his comments are just utter bullshit for me. He knew exactly what he was doing by running as far as he did and celebrating in the manner he did - trying to wind the Motherwell support up. The supposed apology was him simply pushing his luck further after he somehow managed to get away without a booking.

He succeded then ! Zemamma 1 Well fans 0

    Move on

  5. Coke has lacked sharpness in the last few games, good player (unfortunately no pace) but may need arest.

BTW there were people around me giving dogs abuse to Forbes for playing it sideways/backward... Thought that was bang out of order. There were no passes upfied on, he retained the ball rather than just hoofing it and giving the ball away anyway. The boy is 18/19 and hurling abuse at him after a handful of first team starts (in which he is our top scorer) seems to me slightly counter-productive.

I agree the team were getting stick for not giving the ball away where I sit in the POD !

  6. I'm not surprised at todays score ,although we won last week I thought we were quite poor with our passing and on Tuesday we looked very sloppy that theme continued today with far too many players getting robbed in possession and slack passing. It is a learning curve for our youngsters and our new manager and as long as they learn from todays mistakes then I can handle the defeat. Could we claim that the half mars bar ( at least it wasn't deep fried) thrown at Zemamma was a signing on fee/gesture, would love to have him in our team.

  7. he only started gettin abused after his adebayor type celebration to the section of the east stand, which he should have been booked for !

yet after several hibs players having a word or two with the referee he somehow avoided a booking .... tell me that doesn't deserve abuse ?

If you are big enough to dish out the abuse then be big enough to take it back ! We hated him because he was outstanding today and took the Colin Nish out of our players.

  8. The Police would say that after a risk assessment, that option would not be viable in the interest of their and the public's safety.

So does that work if there is an armed robbery ? that after a risk assessment, that option would not be viable in the interest of their and the public's safety

  9. The use threatening behavior, foul or abusive language is STRICTLY FORBIDDEN. Racist, homophobic, discriminatory or sectarian remarks, songs or chants; and the promotion or endorsement of any political or proscribed terrorist organisations is not permitted within the Stadium or on the Club's property and may result in arrest and a lifetime ban from regulated football matches.

Why were most of the Rangers fans not chucked out ?

  10. Saw this as well. It did mean I had to stand up to see the game though. Wonder what he was bothered about? Potential trouble brewing in the POD stand? It's not exactly the most fervent of places.

No problem in the POD, some of the stewards dont speak English and need their roles clearly stated to them in simple terms. The stewards are employed by a private company who are obviously hired by MFC.
