They are a wee bit better than us. But we hung in we played some great moves and we got a draw. It is another 2 steps forward. Happy enough with that tonight and a wee bit excited how far we can go with 2 or 3 additions.

Maswanhise with all respect is a winger. Stamatelopoulos? Cmon .we r hoping he will be good but other than a great strike against hibs he has not shown much. Even when bair wasn't scoring he was creating space for others. All about opinions but for me I think he would fit in perfectly

Watt.fadinger and slattery are all players who want to pass the ball and although a short timespan they all look at this stage to be good footballers compared to other midfielders we have had recently. We are well fans and are pessimists by nature regards our team but at least now after a few dire years there is some hope and optimism from the majority.

Can't understand negativity around bair. Is he better than what's there just now? He gave the glasgow 2s defense a hard time which showed how good he was. If we could get him back with 2 wingers and a midfield that can pass the ball i can't see why he would not enhance us.

Win next week which could happen as league is so up and down and we could be at least 6pts in front of killie ross c and dundee who are all away from home to celtic stmirren and hibs. Today was poor and pitch was always going to sort that out but sending off sealed it but cmon I'd rather be in our position than any of those below. Looks like an interesting last 6 games and when the going gets tough? Well we can actually say based on last 40 years we will be there.

Not been relegated in 40 years so I'd say when heat is really on we don't bottle it.

Totally agree with you on this and apologies if anyone thought I was meaning them in isolation. My generic reading is the majority say they haven't heard much abuse when it happens every game. Now saying your shite or words to that effect might not seem nuch to some but it also depends how it is said and certainly at half time and 2nd half and mostly at end of cup game a lot were really going nuts shouting and bawling in a really aggressive manner. So in essence what I mean is depends how you describe abuse. I totally appreciate also it depends where you are sitting leaving etc.

With mccall most certainly but I enjoyed reading the email that was posted elsewhere. Your last point is what is really funny. Happens a lot. People give it out but can't take it back. SK last week when he had go at fans was not gd look but there was truth in what he said. We can all go to game and think we know better but majority of time the professionals know best. Us as fans do not know state of injurys, players attitude, personal stuff etc etc but we can convince ourselves we know better. Fwiw I do also believe he had come to end but theirs no denying he never had his best team on park often enough.

Great Post and quite simply put. The toxicity at cup game was terrible and it seems this is happening now all the time . These people that spout that nonsense would not do it in any other situation and I'd imagine if they saw players/manager in the street would be all pally wally with them. It's been interesting since SK resigned seeing the keyboard warriors all over social media who slaughter managers players etc saying "wasn't me". They need called out by someone for being the eejits that they are. They are obviously a wee bit worried of getting the blame. I've saw a lot of I've not heard anything bad at games etc which is nonsense as I certainly have and this notion that you pay entry to a game gives you jurisdiction to spout pish to players is ridiculous. Also the email from stuart mcall which someone else has put up shows managers can leave with dignity.

Good points david and that is how close league is. However if our board is not planning for next manager then they are not fit for purpose. I liked kettlewell for a spell but his selections now are troubling me. Halliday as our captain and cm is ridiculous

I wish to stop this thread now with a simple.......... our players are not very good!!! Seriously look at them and you will know. Goodnight
-
Really get where you are coming from and I agree to an extent but there is always an end to everything and I feel it's coming. His signings to play how he wants have been terrible. No pace or power anywhere
-
It's actually quite simple as van veen and bair/spittal have been I o it team last couple if years. If we are being sensible who in our team is better than their players today? Maswanhise maybe and miller obviously maybe slattery but there players are better than ours. We are poor and have overachieved all year and with our injuries if we dont sign anyone last 4 months will be dire. We won't go down because of our points so far but by God out players are poor. Halliday in cm and captain fukn hell when growing up the best player in team was cm or cf how times change.

Think your trying too hard here mjc. Other than 91 the nancy 2 days was up there and possibly next best experience in my 40 years or so supporting us. We also had 9/10k v odense at home 9k v olympiakos 6 and7k v other teams. Yes the results disappointed as usual but it was great times. Europe is great and semi finals and finals are also great. So my thoughts are enjoy them all.

Hanley and mclean were only playing because of their performances against Portugal I think Grizzly but think that will now be start of phase out. I think your harsh on christie his determination and workrate of the ball are up there with best in team plus he's tidy with it and he is getting played out of position .let's see him in his club position next to gilmour and he will thrive I feel. Ralston done well again last night and gilmour was good other than his shooting. Wee doak outstanding we have not had that in years where when he gets the ball their is excitement in crowd. I was disappointed with conway but his 1st start against top class defenders. Gauld impressed again and him and mcginn made big difference when on. Hope some of the takes from last night are having a wee re think today
