When Sam Allardyce was ousted Neil McDonald was the man that he said should take over the job and not Steve Kean, not a bad reference in my book. Dont think his Blackburn connection will help with retaining Blackman on a loan deal, considering the way they were booted out so would,nt think their relationship would be very amicable. I am sure it was also mentioned some where that it was Steve Kean that Mr Brown dealt with in Getting Blackman initially.

What a lot of pish. Someone opens a new account - Suspicious - Investigate Someone places various hundred plus bets - Suspicious - Investigate Bet does'nt come in - NO ONE BLINKS AN EYE Seems to me as if the greedy Bookies want their cake and eat it.

Think the fame might have gone to your head. Dont think any one was having a go just having a bit of fun the same as you had.

Dont think there is any chance this game will go ahead.

They have'nt battered f**k out of one of their team mates and spent a night in the jail

Would'nt argue with them most of them painful. Can mind ma old man dragging me out at half time of the 1976 semi because he had seen it all before and knew what was coming, how right he was.

I do not expect any any sympathy or any special favours it would have been nice to have received a reply either way.I appreciate that the club will be inundated with such requests and Miss Dempster is a busy women, i suppose in situations like this you tend to become selfish but in my own small way i am just trying to do something that may help others in years to come. I actually went into the shop after i heard nothing back from the club to inquire about buying a ball and top and getting them signed ( something that used to be done in years gone past ) and putting them into the auction and donating the profit made I was informed that i could buy a ball for 10pounds and a signed ball would be 20pounds, a top would be 40pounds and a signed top would be 60pounds this would have defeated the purpose as if i had got 70pounds for the top i would have made a tenner for the charity but some one would have paid 70pounds for something that they could go into the shop and buy themselfs for 60. Sorry for the rant but i feel that at times a bit of compassion is required.

Hi all, not sure if this is the right place for this feel free to move. Unfortunately Mrs Soutar is unwell at the moment and my stepdaughter decided to arrange a charity night in aid of Cancer research, she has put alot of work in to try and get prizes and auction items and been most successful on the whole. Yes you may be one step ahead of me, she contacted Miss Dempster on numerous occassions asking if the could see their way to donate something from the club but alas there was no response. Where i am going with this is that while i was telling some one about this through some luck and an act of kindness i have been given a signed ball from round about the time of the Scottish Cup Victory. While i would like to have this myself i would rather it went towards making some money for a worth while charity, i was wondering if any one had an idea how much it may fetch or if any one is interested in making an offer. I can say for definite it is the full cup winning team as i cannot decifer all the signatures, I can read a few and my heart misses a beat when i see them, i will list them and if any one has any ideas or thoughts i would be pleased to hear from you. Names on ball - JOE McLOUD CHRIS McCART DAVY COOPER PHIL O,DONNELL JAMIE DOLAN JOHN PHILIBAN TOMMY McLEAN TOM FORSYTH DOUGIE ARNOTT JIM GRIFFEN There are more but cant make them all out. Thanks

Made a Rodger Hunt of my first reply, never mind. Mr Diggle on the whole ussually does have wise words but have to disagree with the unattractive football would drive supporters to sit and watch it on Sky, i think attractive football and staring relegation in the face would drive more punters away. We are all supporters of Motherwell but we all have differing ideas, opinions and thoughts on what we expect when we turn out to view our favourites, we may all be M/Well fans but we certainly do not watch the same games. FWIW i think that under Mr Broon and co it is still very much a work in progress at the moment, at times things look good and at times we look disjointed, i think we are doing ok ( as our league position suggests ) but i think when he finds the correct personnel and playing them in their best positions we will improve and it could bring exciting times but then again it might not!!!! Slightly off topic, thought Jenno was outstanding again today but whan it comes to man of the match if Craigan only made the half time draw he would still get votes.

They charge more during the SPL season to watch big names like Inverness, St Mirren, Kilmarnock................., dont see what the big deal is really. Its everyones own finances and choice so at the end of the day if you dont want to pay the prices dont go.
-
+1 Fine team performance from one and and all. I have a feeling that one of these days Jenno is going to be involved in one of the goals of the season.

First class result today, again. Thought best we would get today was a draw. Credit must be given to one and all involved in this amazing turnaround and magnificent run, and lets not forget this when it does come to an end, long may it continue

One i remember from years ago ( a think ) maybe mr aka will remember, oh the Well fans they dont carry razors, oh the Well fans they dont carry chains , oh the Well fans they just carry shotguns to blow out the .............s brains.

Think we would all have taken a point before the game but are all gutted at not getting a deserved 3 points. Having a perfectly good goal chopped off is hard to take against any one but was criminal tonight, we should loose sight of how well the team performed tonight Thought job was SENSATIONAL.

Bring back the days of the widden hut up the back of the terracing and the guy going round selling the macaroon bars and the spearmint chewing gum, health and safety, QUALITY!
-
Everyone has a differing opinion and see's differently but for me Tom Hateley did little wrong yesterday and his long cross field passes are a joy to watch.
-
Would love a win, but dont think 0 - 0 draw is shitey, rebuilding a team new manager fair start to the season, that would do me.

Think it must have been Shake and Vac cause the surface looked like a carpet to me !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Soapy Soutar replied to dazamfc's topic in Club Chat
Bit harsh i feel, can remember the same being said of JOB when he came on scene and look at him now. He is only a young lad and i think he has potential and blistering pace, give him a chance. Thought there was a lot of positives to take out of the game today, and it was a breathe of fresh air to watch numerous fine performances. Definately a feel good factor throughout. Enjoyed it very much, more of the same please. -
