who were you expecting, non league players are the market we can afford, if he turns out to be as good an ivestment as Johnson or Moult then it will be another good bit of business.
Well considering we have Moult, McDonald and Blyth I'd have imagine a midfielder or defender.

Does the reference to bosman not mean that it refers to someone currently under contract whose contract will end in the near future. My guess is that a pre-contract agreement might be made with the Irish midfielder we are reported to be interested in.
No it refers to a player who's contract has now ran out and is available for a free.

If it's awaiting clearance, then yes we have. Clearance is the final step after contracts have been signed and papers submitted.

Who do we need clearance from? Is clearance only required when the signing is coming from another association or could it be clearance from the SFA?
International clearance is required for every signing
