  1. What seemed very obvious to me was that St Mirren and to a lesser extent Livingston did not pressure the goalkeeper or back four when we were taking goal kicks. They sat off and allowed the defence to pass it about at the back and concentrated their players in the midfield which restricted our midfield space to impose their passing game, which nullified our ability to go forward with any real urgency. If other managers employ this tactic, I think it will be a long season.
  2. I'm afraid you can't have it both ways. If there had been no VAR, we wouldn't have got what was stonewall penalty, because the referee didn't give it.
  3. Totally agree. we played Rangers of the pitch in the first half, and the Rangers players had a word with that excuse for an unbiased referee and he gave them a ridiculous penalty, with Derek Johnstone running away from the goals, went down without being touched. Total fix.
  4. If we are interested in bringing in another midfielder on loan. What about David Turnbull.
  5. The boy made his decision to go to Rangers. Leave him there.
  6. Gogic was sitting beside us in the Cooper against Hertha Berlin.
  7. The team did well, but felt Just is a bit too lightweight and had a fair amount of misplaced passes. But the defence did well against some big lumps up front for St Mirren,
  8. Thought the defence coped really well, so gave my vote to SODS.
  9. I tried the extensions one by one, and the only reply was the shop.
  10. That seems to be the Motherwell way. Deny until the deal is actually done.
  11. I had exactly the same problem, trying to talk to someone. the only extension that worked was the club shop.
  12. Is there any truth in the rumour regards Lennon Miller going to Bologna. A deal to 2029 with option of another year?
  13. I'M sure we are not alone in getting dubious decisions against Celtic and Rangers. Maybe if all the managers in the league stood against them, and did what Kettlewell did, things might get better.
  14. Please don't expect me to say yes to a proposal that will reduce our substantial shareholding of 71% to 50.1% ( changed only because we didn't accept their first offering), while also us putting nearly as much money into the offer as Wild Sheep and giving them from day one, chairmanship of the board and another two directors for a paltry £300k. Then after six years a small change of hands of shares, could reduce our shareholding below the 50.1% and everything would be effectively run by Wild Sheep. My vote is in.
