  1. I just wish people would stop all this pish about Watt going to Rangers and Just and the manager going to Celtic. The two players are under contract, and if they go anywhere, it's because the price is right for MFC. Let's just wait and see what the outcome is. Whatever way it's got to suit Motherwell.
  2. Sorry Dougie, as far as I'm concerned, I hope we get it right up you and Celtic on Wednesday. Motherwell great or not.
  3. Saying in the Guardian that he is in discussion with Jens. So maybe not so clearcut that he is going.
  4. I'm trying to think of any game outwith the ugly sisters that has gone to 10 mins extra time. (when only 7 mins were indicated). I'm sure someone on here can enlighten me.
  5. Great name Wullie, but my favourite player of that era was the man whose photo I use, that of Charlie Aitken.
  6. A really uplifting interview. Jens never disappoints. Please be here next season, and lets kick on from here.🤞
  7. Why should we be talking about selling Maswanhise for 4-5m, when Hibs sold Bowie for 6 million +, and he had nowhere near the number of goals. We should surely be looking at least the same if not more.
  8. Had to be Sod's for all the abuse that guy get's over the season. He was immense.
  9. If Ceptic can get £18m for a numpty like Engels, I would be holding the door open for him, with his bags packed.
  10. Every club is looking for a goalscorer, so any one that comes into that category and is still only 23 has got to be worth upwards of 10 million. Why should we always seem to sell ourselves short?
  11. SOD and Paul McGinn played CB's against Ceptic and it was probable our best performance of the season. So I don't think we should get too hung up on Welsh leaving. While he fitted well into the system., I felt his one weakness was in the air. Noticeable in the last two games against St Mirren and Hibs.
  12. That just tells you everything that is wrong with Scottish Football. Everybody (except Rangers fans) can see it was a penalty. Take that same situation up the other end and a penalty would be awarded.
  13. What seemed very obvious to me was that St Mirren and to a lesser extent Livingston did not pressure the goalkeeper or back four when we were taking goal kicks. They sat off and allowed the defence to pass it about at the back and concentrated their players in the midfield which restricted our midfield space to impose their passing game, which nullified our ability to go forward with any real urgency. If other managers employ this tactic, I think it will be a long season.
  14. I'm afraid you can't have it both ways. If there had been no VAR, we wouldn't have got what was stonewall penalty, because the referee didn't give it.
  15. Totally agree. we played Rangers of the pitch in the first half, and the Rangers players had a word with that excuse for an unbiased referee and he gave them a ridiculous penalty, with Derek Johnstone running away from the goals, went down without being touched. Total fix.
