I agree but you must have midfielders that are comfortable in possession for it to effective along with a forward that is mobile, will protect the ball and bring others in to play. I'm not wholly convinced we have the personnel to play this way.

One things for sure both randy and ruddy were too good for motherwell

Randolphs made a number of howlers this season that have resulted in goals that's why he won't go any higher than a mid table Premiership side. That said, we were truly spoiled having goalies of the calibre of randy and ruddy in recent times

Laing for me even though he only played 55mins

I thought watt was poor - his use of the ball was absolutely shocking. Seems to me he would be better at centre half than full back.

One of the few who have a decent chance of playing next week, Laing, probably the pick of the bunch so far. No one standing out. Moore certainly not impressing so far

The win bonus is a massive incentive. Apparantly in the regular season it's a good few hundred quid per player per point. I would imagine that there would be significant uplift for the playoffs.

Lol ya bezzer is lasley not john suttons da Keith lasley and john sutton combined barely resemble a footballer. The fact that these two, and Mcmanus, have played in just about every game this season is one of the reasons we are in the shit. Yet McCall in his wisdom handed out 2 year contracts to 2 of these 3 players. Should have been sacked for that decision alone

Thomas yes. Disagree about pearson - he was poor (as was the rest of the team)!at the recent away games. However in the 2nd half against Kilmarnock while we were under pressure he was the calming influence doing some terrific defensive work in midfield as well as picking some great passes to set up some chances near the end

Before barra's recent spending spree he was apparently the highest earner at the club so not surprised to see him go. Also wages aside his performances haven't been very good so glad to hear he may not be offered a contract.

Pearson did some terrific defensive work in the 2nd half when we were getting edgy and also managed to pick out 2 wonderful passes to set up chances near the end. If grant has to be playing centre then it should at the expense of lasley
