I don't buy into this the players aren't playing for the manager chat. It's more to the fact they aren't very good. The players are playing for their livelihoods and I would hope, for our sakes, there are relegation clauses in each of the hopeless cunts that are contracted to next season to act as motivation. Cause if hammell lasley and McManus aren't motivated then no other useless cunt is either.

if we could put the following team on the park i think we might (just) be able to avoid relegation Dan Law O'Brien McManus Hammell Lasley Lawson Ojamma Vigurs Pearson Sutton but the likelihood of getting them all on the park at any one time are slim to say the least. Obviously Thomas could come in for vigurs push pearson into middle or ojamma upfront. Hopefully that's the last we've seen of Kerr, Ramsden, Ainsworth, ZFA and Reid if the manager has the balls and authorisation to pay him off and tell him hes no longer required

The rapid decline is more to do with players not being adequately replaced, an unbalanced squad with too many right sides defenders, no natural width, and experienced players being one year closer to the knackers yard rather than Faddy and hutch inspiring the players last season. I wonder if they two are inspiring their new team mates at St Johnstone and fulham respectively. According to some st Johnstone fans Faddy has been in the main dreadful all season. I will need to ask them of his inspirational qualities.

payment of last seasons bonuses has taken its time to reach some of the players. At least there won't be similar problems next season

Morgyn Neill hasn't had the season most were hoping for at u20s level is what I've heard. Although hopefully he kicks on and gets to make an impression at some point in the first team.

Lasley is part of the problem not the solution. He cant pass a ball. Twice in the first half he had to head clear his miscued attempts at booting the ball up the park -pretty embarrassing when your captain and midfielder that plays virtually every minute of the season does that. He's meant to protect the defence and can't even do that competently enough. Watching carthorses like him Sutton kerr Reid McManus all who have no technical ability makes my blood boil. Running around (like a headless chicken) should no longer be considered as acceptable for a Motherwell player. We will never be sucessful, particularly as a passing team, with all these in the side. Late edit forgot O'Brien from that the list.
