Sure it was the same season, lost something like 4 of last 6 games to fall away
-
My memory may be playing tricks on me but weren’t we still in with a title chance in March / April 1995
-
Great 3 points. Thought Aberdeen were better today than rangers were in midweek
-
Slight profit before taxation and deductions for accounting practices. Transfer income of about £1.4m offset by increase in staff costs and player bonuses. Increase in squad size referenced which again isn’t surprising
-
£260k loss to May 2025. The position to May 2026 should be more positive with increased attendances and the Lennon miller dosh

What a pleasure it is watching this team. I didn’t think I’d see a team that would entertain more than the McLean / McLeish team of the 90s. Probably not as good but certainly a better watch

Ap stam did try. He’s just shite, absolutely rotten. Needs to be moved on pronto

League Cup Semi Motherwell v St Mirren 1/11/2025

St Mirren got every break going and 4 1 wasn’t entirely deserved but we never had a plan how to deal with them. Thats the blueprint for others now. We need to be adaptable -
League Cup Semi Motherwell v St Mirren 1/11/2025

Mandron is 5 times the player ap stam is. not his fault solely as the other 14 or so were just as bad. But a sad day when you say that about mikael mandron of all people. the team has little fight when the chips are down -
Ap stam is garbage
-
O’Donnell was very good again
-
Eli Just produced the best individual performance of ours at Tynecastle since McCormack (and porter) ran riot there in the cup game years ago
-
Mcginn and ward chucked the 3 points away.
-
I think the 2025 version of Liam Gordon is every bit as bad as kofi balmer. Balmers arguably been better in the league cup games
-
He doesn’t fit into how we want to play under JBA. He would be behind miller (for now) slattery fadinger and watt so suspect we aren’t interested at all
-
I thought Gordon was worse than Balmer today, and balmer was bad!
-
Not sure but whyte and Campbell Forrest the standouts first half being 3-0 up albeit a little flattering. Essentially a u18 team first half and u17s second half after changing all bar the goalie at half time iirc also bellshill were more than a good test and worthy of at least a draw
-
I thought we were poor last night for what it’s worth but not going to lose sleep over it. If we are as bad in 3 weeks time then I may get worried
-
Huddersfield apparently. Been a good servant, not without his faults, but one of our better centre half’s in recent times
-
In my opinion we shouldn’t be signing anyone current at the club and not contracted for next season. We already have a first team squad numbers wise signed up and that many deficiencies the manager will need budget to bring at least 4 players who will improve the starting line up. None of the uncontracted players do that for me

O’Donnell was excellent after a ropey first 15mins

The Well Society - How Are They Doing?
Big Wispy Flossy replied to joewarkfanclub's topic in Club Chat
The website wasn’t the easiest to navigate to vote iirc which may have had an impact on turnout. I gave up after about three attempts on my phone. Probably says more about me than the wider membership however. -
Was thinking that earlier. Right now slatterys looking levels above miller and the rest
-
They’ll be all over your patter

Having mcginn odonnell and Halliday signed up for next season is criminal. If Tony watt is added to the list I may actually combust. There’s room for 2 of them at the very most and that could be argued is generous
