  1. I didn't realise there had been a protest till today, when I read this thread. It was only then I thought , they had been quiet yesterday.I sat near them last Saturday , I find the constant banging of the drum a pain...but I am probably in the minority there.A lot of them were trying to noise up the stewards and cops last week and they, I am sure , just find them immature wee boys Don't know when we got to the stage when we had to create an artificial atmosphere.....good football , bad refs , etc etc can create an atmosphere all of their own.By all means get behind the team and sing etc , but we don't need any more bad publicity and/or fines Mind you I moved to nearer the Hamiton guys in the second half , their songs made the well Bois look like Poets
  2. Probably on a bonus to for league and cup finishes too, so would be in his interests to get best team on park....possibly find that would be in place at MWELL too, if they are wanting to develop and sell on....as someone said the manager doesn't decide to sell players on
  3. Moult needs to start jumping for the ball, he wants to back in all the time, therefore centre backs need to come over him to challenge.I didn't think their number 3 was all that dirty ......I know the well fans were going mental , tho
  4. Was that who was in the rammy?Who did it?
  5. Motherwell higher than Reading?
  6. There were some games apart from the play off, Towards the end if the season, Kilmarnock , home and away , St Mirren at home and Hamilton at home, when we had good performances and results. In hindsight I think we have missed Pearson and Erwin more than we realise . It all did seem a bit short term , if his family are down South , hope he gets something sorted
  7. I feel appointing Craigan or the like will be an old boys club,we need someone progressive, maybe make them come back in the afternoons etc
  8. After watching last nights goals, how about somebody in central defence that can put a tackle or block in .....it's not a complicated game
  9. Who knows, Craigan could turn out to be a top notch manager, there's more to it than tactics, formations etc but I Don't think other premiership teams would consider appointing someone with no managerial experience.....maybe bring in an old head to start with ....Tam McClean?
  10. W What are craigan managerial and coaching credentials...we've just had to punt a manager, let's have a good think about where we go from here .best of luck ,Iain ,don't like to see this happen, but ultimately it was coming.Good few players need to have a look atvthemselves
  11. Playing devils advocate here,is bara saying hoof it up the park,or is he saying ,spring the guys with pace and hit teams on the break.Either way its not working,so if we haven't the players to execute it we need to change tactics
  12. I have found the past couple of games a hard watch, but still think dismissing the guy if we lost tonight would be a knee jerk reaction.......give it till first round of games are by and hopefully Pearson and Fletcher are back and then judge.....its not as if we can just go and get Jurgen Klopp or Jim Jeffries in , anyway
  13. When are they going to close down opposition players from putting crosses into box, e.g accies goal on sat? Thats the fine lines between getting a result and not ,,,,,cant be relying on refs giving pens , although i think it was a pen, on this occasion
  14. Do you think £22 is value for money for Scottish football, at least four is slightly cheaper.Should be capped maximum £15
  15. Yep , people should be able to wear what they like
  16. The one that made it 3/2 v Stjarnan was a poor one and very costly......v Aberdeen at fir park that resulted in a penalty.Probably more , but can't think of them at moment. The Dundee game, you mention, was comic cuts that day
  17. I don't really rate Dan either, but is this a good use of resources.....what's happened to signing unproven players with a potential sell on value?Fraid I didn't take much notice of him at St Mirren , but in his recent spell at Killie , he wasn't much cop......good luck to the lad , tho
  18. Where is the sell on value on Samson.Would like to give new signings the benefit of the doubt , but having watched him against us last year, I don't rate the guy......hopefully he can prove a lot of people wrong , but just don't get this one......would have been better taking a punt on a younger player from lower divisions, at least the fans would give him time Or maybe Samson is playing for buttons.??
  19. [quoI don't disagree yesterday was a hard wstch, but the decline in crowds has been ongoing for years. We have come off the back of 2 wins,so there was no greatv reason for the poor starting attendance. Its a sad fact that for various reasons the crowds have fallen away, I don't believe the poor fare is the main reason]te name="Kmac" post="452504" timestamp="1442138505"] Spot on. To me, that is the really noticeable thing. If you look at the highlights from yesterdays game, there are score of empty seats in the East Stand - go back even 3/4 years and that wouldn't have been the case. The bois (who should become this generations die hards) have now started walking away. Fans thrive on seeing players, who, if not blessed with huge quality, burst a gut for the team. I fear that both Baracloughs manner and his signing policy are manifest in a lack of 'soul' on the park - a little something to get behind. We are now inundated with players who have worked their way around the English lower leagues without settling and for good reason. I'm aware that we aren't blessed with cash however there are ways to put a squad together which gets everybody gelled and fighting a common cause. All I see however is three quarters of a team who are looking to move on elsewhere ASAP and a manager who isn't hard enough to knock that mentality out of them and have them playing for 'Motherwell'. Something fundamental needs to change at the club and that has to start with Baraclough. I want someone who shows ambition and is quite frankly willing to piss a few people off to achieve it. We are pandering to ego's and reputations at the moment and it's costing us dearly. The support can see through it and are walking away.
  20. Seems just like national team , not enough who won't, probably can't take an accurate pop from distance.Friday night with Scotland was crying out for a player to welly one from distance ,against a massed defence
  21. It's also going to stunt the Motherwell careers of ian black and mcgeady....
