The problem with bringing in the law is that they would all have to be dealt with , including the Well p,ayers, you can imagine the hullabaloo if Moshni was prosecuted and the others weren't, no matter who started or whose punches/kicks were more severe.Think we should just put it down to experience

If the guys being released had been any good, they would be telling the club thanks but no thanks, they are off to bigger things, so the club are telling them the same That for me sums Carswell up , gave 100pc but just didn't have anything out of the ordinary to add to the game.Bara has come in and noted this, if he doesn't like or rate Bara for this, that's good.If we had continued with him in the middle of the park, we weren't staying up

Motherwell V The Rangers Spfl Playoff Final 2Nd Leg 31/05/15
Shire Greats replied to Yabba's Turd's topic in Club Chat
It was a great day, ironically it was mire celebrated than finishing second in the league Bara deserves a lot if praise, there were a few games, notably St Johnstone and Dundee at home , in Jan/Feb , where I didn't think we would even make the play offs. Most of His signings have made a big difference , in spite of them getting pelters on here , week in week out Pleased for Bara , he seems a decent guy, he's kept his nerve throughout Great atmosphere yesterday too Downsides were the flare coming on (if it was a well fan) and the clowns on the pitch goading the Rangers fans at the end, if they had come on , it could have been really nasty.Credit to the Rangers fans for showing restraint.....I know that won't be a popular view but it's good to show a bit of class, win or lose -
Yes, Motherwell had went the previous 5 games , I think, without conceding a goal , Roger Hynd was new manager.Unfortunately it was all downhill after thatDon't know if the pitch invasion was necessarily the reason we capitulated , but we will say it was, anyway Pitch invasions were quite commonplace back in the day

I still reckon Rangers would be better bet for us, they might be a bit done in by the time the game comes around ad I wouldn't fancy Scott Allen hitting free kicks corners on our defence, as per last night Rangers actually defended them quite well

If it is to be the 1st division this year then it could be as entertaining and competitive as the premier, you are going to have hibs(probably), St mirren , Falkirk, Morton, queen of the South , mfc(possibly) As les said if you can't afford a St , don't get one, pick and choose your games If we are in the premier then the people who said at the meeting they can't afford a St for the 1st division have got a choice to make

Re the money on your post, he's only looking for what he has put in back , interest free, after 5 years, hardly unreasonable.Hopefully he doesn't read this forum or he might wonder what the hell he has done Re he 2000 members of ws, what's wrong with setting targets , he did mention about preparing to fail, that's what some are already doing I accept he could have worded his reply about the St prices better but when you are under the spotlight for a couple of hours like that, there are always going to be a couple of answers people will dissect Let's back the guy until we really have something to worry about
-
He probably would have if his boss gad told him that was the deal and Hibs fans still talk highly of him.......
-
I'm not sure why, but as time goes on i'm starting to wonder if there's something weird going on here Mmmm.sounds like a Scooby doo plot....it was old man baraclough all the time, he would've got away with it if it hadn't been for those pesky well fans
-
I was there ,I don't think he was trying to offend you,he didn't say don't come to the games,he said if you can't afford a St,don't buy one...sound advice? Maybe I am giving the bloke the benefit of the doubt, but I honestly don't think he was being cheeky
-
Good points,I didn't find him condascending but looks like some folk did.,but ultimately any contributions would be for MFC,not Les

I would like us to try a modern take on the mid 70s strip with the sash(sorry diagonal band)
-
I was there also and was very impressed by him , candid and forthright.dont really know what people are expecting if they say his attitude is terrible. He has given an interest free loan and after 5 years wants his money back, pretty reasonable I would say.i was impressed by the whole top table, they seem to have good business brains

I think Marvin is one of the few hopes we have, maybe the step up is starting to tell on him, cos his fitness was suspect when he came, probably benefit from a good ore season.....unfortunately we need him on song in next few weeks

The chance Gow had in 1st half, they seemed to let him just walk through. McDonald was a wee bit unlucky but doubt it will be overturned, still seemed to catch the boy The McManus tackle was a bloody shocker, one of those when you are embarrassed by it, hope the boy is ok Thought it looked areal soft penalty too Always thought we were going to get out of this, but now , I have the fear
-
If it is rangers, hopefully they will be knackered after4 tough games in short space of time,I think it will be hibs, tho
-
A lit of the apathy and the ones who won't be back ,will be gone with a good result in 1st leg of play off,in fact it will be a sell out at FP,if there is something to play for in 2nd leg
-
I am not defending Long but I don't know about the 3 times as many errors, I an still remember Dan against Dundee , Aberdeen , and a few others chucking them in.he also was at fault for the goal that put us out of Europe. He is generally a good shot stopper , but poor at criosses. He definitely isn't the answer, probably Long isn't either.
-
Principles , schminciples All kidding aside I would prefer a 16 team league , playing each other twice, but you're right, we are where we deserve to be
-
Hopefully there is a plan being hatched , as we speak, for increasing the number of teams in the league to16
-
A lot drifted away last year too, when we were in 2nd place, the away supports in the past few games have actually been pretty good

Vigurs , Ramsden and Lawson could be the greatest players in the world, but with their injury records , it's a brave club that would take a punt on them Good luck to the others , but don't think they're good enough for the level they are at

Cars well wouldn't get in the team just now, even an ageing Lasley has got a lot more about him He will probably get a fist division team next year, then he has the chance to prove people wrong at f.p, including me, but I don't think the guy has it to play premier league football If we do stay up , we need to release the guys who are 1st division players or it will be same story next year I reckon we have been lucky, up until a few months ago, we weren't any better than St Mirren and in some games , worse
