Right now we're in a totally expected bad run of form. This has been compounded by injuries to all our key players and a busy and difficult schedule. If these sort of runs carry on once all those factors have been resolved then it goes from a blip to something clearly far more serious. I don't think I've been seriously wanting to see a Motherwell manager sacked since Malpas but if we're still losing every week despite having a fully fit and hopefully strengthened squad then I'll have a harder time defending Robinson.

I've came to the conclusion that Carl McHugh's powers come from concussion but wear off after ~ 6 months. All we need is him to take another head knock at Rugby Park and we'll have a cracking player by the start of next season.

I always remembered him at Hibs as in the Josh Magennis/Ryan Bowman mould- hardworking, physical, bit of a nuisance but not particularly prolific. Looking at his stats though he seems to have turned into an absolute goal machine in England. When the fuck did that happen?

Carson Tait Kipre Hartley Hammell Bigi Campbell McHugh Tanner Fisher Frear It's a tossup between Hammell and Dunne for me, but tbh the thought of Jordan Jones running at either of them gives me the fear. Bigi and Campbell should be two of a midfield three, not really bothered who accompanies them. Bowman isn't a lone striker. Fisher probably isn't either but it's worth a try.

I think there's several ways to look at our form. On the one hand we've taken 4(should have been 6) from 9 against Celtic and Aberdeen, but the obvious inverse of that is 0/9 against Hibs,Ross County and Hearts. I'm nowhere near panic stations yet but a win on Wednesday would go a long way towards; a) allaying any lingering relegation fears, barring a monumental second half of the season collapse, by putting us 15 clear of 12th b) ensuring we don't rock up to Killie on 1 win in 8 c) helping us prepare for the inevitable and prove we can win without Moult

Maybe Moult's injury history will be worse than thought and put other clubs off, resulting in him staying here forever and ever.

Rodgers is a fucking fraud of a manager. He's good at taking good teams and making them even better but falls to pieces the moment he doesn't have a massive financial and quality advantage over the opposition. That's why he was sacked at Liverpool, will never achieve anything of note in Europe and will never get another chance at a top English club. He's tiers below even the likes of Allardyce and Pulis.
