If Moult had scored that 40 yarder immediately after lobbing Alnwick I honestly think I'd have either seriously injured myself or ended up on the pitch.
Celtic are away to PSG the midweek before the final. Hopefully they suffer a demoralising 6-0 defeat as well as a few horrendous injuries and their fans get equally battered by some French hooligans.
It's been a pleasure to watch Louis Moult progress from a guy that pretty much only scored penalties and scrappy tap ins when he first joined to somebody that casually lobs Rangers goalies at Hampden.
I wasn't born for another two decades and am only vaguely aware of this game and the people involved but I upvoted purely for this line Pure bitterness and hatred is what makes football.
Not sure if it's just me trying to make myself feel better about not being able to make it but I've got a bad feeling we'll lose this. 1-0 Accies. We'll beat Rangers though.
Imagine beating Celtic in the League Cup Final and parading the cup against them a few days later. Would be the greatest opportunity for a wind up in the history of sport.
Not sure if this has been mentioned but was a tad surprised to see Zak Jules' Shrewsbury topping League One. Closer inspection reveals that they've already papped him on loan without a single appearance.
