  1. I suppose somebody had to replace Inverness as the Twitter #Banterlads
  2. h**s seem to think that they'll get Moult for £500k + Michael O'Halloran. I'd imagine the chances of us accepting that are slim to none. MoH is a decent player but we've got no need for another winger with Frear,Cadden and possibly Ainsworth and Dom Thomas in the squad.
  3. We rejected an offer from Port Vale in January, who I think are Stoke's main rivals, so there's that I guess.
  4. I'm a big McDonald fan. Even towards the end of his career he's been absolutely crucial for us for the last 2 and a half years. Not really sure what Sydney offers that North Lanarkshire doesn't but that's up to him.
  5. I don't watch the English lower leagues, so I have no idea how Oldham set up under Robinson, but I don't think we can necessarily assume that the fact we've played a more... direct style under him means this is the way we'll play going forward. Personally, I'm more inclined to believe Robinson took a pragmatic approach, and manage to organise our injury hit and imbalanced squad into a makeshift side that could scrape to safety rather than envisioning himself as Scottish football's answer to Tony Pulis.
  6. I dream of the day we see a Scotland team lineup with a back four including Zak Jules and Joe Chalmers.

    Moult.

Like the time we rejected offers for Law and Randolph and they went on to leave for nothing?
  8. Practically Falkirk's entire team are out of contract.
  9. Can we please stop talking about John Hughes and get back to debating the pros and cons of a career in taxis,Asian troll cabals and Erasmus?
  10. Hibs v Hamilton Motherwell v Rangers Kilmarnock v Falkirk Basically, the team furthest to the south always wins the playoffs, so Inverness are fucked either way, but Accies have a fighting chance.

    Lionel Ainsworth

Assuming neither Moult nor McDonald stay next season, then I think a 4-2-3-1/4-3-2-1 is probably the best way to utilise our best players; New Goalkeeper Tait Heneghan(?) McManus New Left Back Campbell Mchugh Ainsworth Cadden Frear New Striker Seems about the bones of a decent team.
  12. I'd rather Accies stayed up. Nothing against Inverness but the season is always a bit more boring without any derbies.
  13. McHugh signing for us and provoking the entire Plymouth fanbase into a meltdown was hilarious, more of the same please.
  14. We've scored a couple in Dingwall too, Vigurs and Conor Grant.

    Lasley.

Would another season be the worst thing? Not as a first choice obviously but I'd prefer him as a backup than Clay or Lucas. Though my judgment may admittedly be clouded as I absolutely love Keith Lasley.
  16. I'm unconditionally in love with Ainsworth, but that 90th minute substitution surely means he's gone.
  17. Should have hired John Hughes imo.
  18. I think McGhee would have kept us up. I think Robinson will too.
  19. Rangers allegedly paid £1.8m for Joe Garner who is both vastly inferior and four years older than Moult. Obviously the English market is utterly insane, but taking all that into account, as well as charging them a domestic rival premium, I don't think we should settle for less than about £800k.

  21. The 2013/14 kit was 10/10 IMO. Perfect.
  22. We're quite clearly not paying Lee Lucas £2k p/w.
  23. Is that Accies,Hearts and now Hibs that have been promoted then let Keatings go? Congratulations to Dundee United on their 2017/18 Championship victory.
  24. I don't really think we can judge Robinson's appointment until the end of the season. There's been a pretty equal mix of the encouraging- a tactical flexibility and willingness to change things, less 3,4,5 goal pumpings and generally improved performances all with a makeshift team- and the worrying- we're still losing more than we win and seem unable to cut out idiotic individual defensive mistakes. If he keeps us up,then job done, he's done as well as could be expected given the shambles he walked into. If we go down, then fair enough, criticise whoever you want then.
