  1. Mind totally fine and last season I was one of his biggest critics. But he isn't going to go after one game. If we can't qualify against Sligo and have a poor start to season then he has to go. But I will stay positive and hope this time next week we are looking forward to next round
  2. For any opposition scouting us it must be a dream as you know it will be 4 3 3. Sadly Alexander too stubborn to admit it doesn't work. I am not calling for him to go after one game of a season but by jeez he needs to sort this mess and quickly. We need about 5 or 6 players and we need some cleared out if St Mirren can be tempted to sign them (lol). A big problem for me is his mannerism and attitude. I don't expect a "hey guys, how you all doing" but I do expect a realistic assessment of a match and not a constant delusional view of a match that our fans see totally differently. Let's hope next week can see us turn this round
  3. Where to start....well first we aren't out, we have a 2nd leg to turn things round although it looks a hard ask on that showing. I thought McGinn was good and McGuire in 1st half. Now to the negatives starting with a manager who I am prepared to give a 2nd chance but his post match interview again sums up how much he insults the fans intelligence. As for some players, bevis - a cult figure but not good enough and clearly doesn't like us to do well in cup ties as last 2 he has cost us. Carroll - never been a fan and every pass is backwards, again not good enough Slattery - I like him but jeez he was honking tonight, 4 3 3 doesn't suit him. Van Veen - a Messiah and can do no wrong in a lot of eyes but for me is a guy that believes his own hype and spends more time getting involved with the opposition. Again these are just my views and everyone will have their own say but for Alexander he needs to get this sorted asap , surely even his biggest fans can see that. COYW
  4. My kind of joke, need cheering up after that performance
  5. It wasn't me but you should be privileged, I would love to get a ha ha emoji!! Lol
  6. I think a lot of the criticism of Alexander last season was justified. I was very critical at times but I would like to think it was constructive. Anyway that was last season and I am sure GA has learned a lot also from last season (apart from recognising a decent left back ) but that's just my own view. Let's all create a great atmosphere tomorrow and get right behind the lads ...COYW
  7. Chapman's performance at Accies could only be described as the same as the pie he shared his name with......full of mince
  8. I have no doubt we have been looking and like every other club finding that dream striker on our budget is difficult. It would just be nice though to have a back up for KVV, yep plenty of time left before window ends but hopefully get someone in soon. Now I know what answer will be from most folk but would Griffiths on say a 3 month deal be worth trying?,. Yep a brave move but if it didn't work then all parties would move on
  9. I look forward to hearing you sing....COMMMMEEEEE ONNNNNN YEEEEE.....EMMMM......SLIGGOOOOOOOO
  10. You would think we would have learned from last season when he had KVV as only out and out striker from January onwards, I know finding a striker is hard but we need to start looking asap . Unless he plays shields there where it is his main position yet is seen as a winger .. COYW
  11. Atmosphere for Nancy game at home pte match and first 10mins was immense, then all of a sudden 0-2 and game over
  12. Apparently they have asked social media team about how we do those happy Birthday posts on Facebook!! Heh he
  13. I must have been watching a different player to those people commenting on twitter, everyone has their own views but for me it isn't a great loss.... COYW
  14. Reminds me of the time a Newcastle fan got Carroll 9 tattooed on his back the day before he was sold to Liverpool!! Lol
  15. Wow!!,. They obviously have a lot of delight and think he will be full of Eastern promise......anyone under age of 35 will have no idea what I am on about !! Lol
  16. Had odd flashes of form but didn't show enough for me, mind you isn't any worse than efford
  17. As in you don't think we have received as big a fee as that? No idea what we would have got, I just mean if it was that then it's good business
  18. Got my ticket today,. Can you pay at gate on the night? Asking for a friend
  19. Strange thing about Woolery was he got dropped just as he started to find some form, another strange GA decision. But if we got say at least £200k it's good business but I would want to see that invested in new signings
  20. Had 2 years left on deal so if we have got decent money it's great business in my opinion. Apart from a few goals against gers and a Great performance against dun utd he didn't really impress me. Hopefully the Turks also highly rate Carroll and McGinley
  21. That team just brings back nightmares of 1987 Scottish cup quarter final replay at fir park in front of 15,000 and watching John Gardiner making a Jim Delahunt of their goal
  22. Five words Mrs grizzly says to me every day!! Lol
  23. If it's a decent offer then it should be considered but only if replacement lined up. I like KVV but I do think he gets cut a lot of slack, if he was just Kevin Veen he would have got more pelters. His discipline last season was shocking and he missed about 4 or 5 games due to his petty bookings and when we had nowt options up front. Again I hope he stays but if someone offered say £300k then it's hard to turn down
