Looks like I am in the minority about Carroll, i think my problem is I compare every left back to Rob McKinnon who was just awesome

The 2 full backs concern me. Grimmy can never be faulted for effort and energy but he isn't a natural right back. Carroll I feel is ok but too often turns back once over halfway line. He is at least a natural left back but maybe with competition in that area both players will up their game.

Yep totally agree as well with what you say. I just wouldn't want to see him getting a hard time from fans if he signed for Celtic. If we get good money then it will really help the club on a sound financial footing

No real rush to sell so I hope it's not a case of Celtic make an offer we accept and deal is done. Wherever he ends up eventually I will wish him the best as he has stood by the club and been very loyal. COYW

A very good point Stu and do agree with it and I have no issues with our signings. I am very vocal about the youth academy as I feel we have built a great reputation for attracting youngsters as they will get their chance, I also do appreciate that if the players aren't ready then the club cant push them into the first team. At end of day I just need to trust the management and backroom staff. COYW

Would be great to see but judging on the signings we are making the club seem to have forgotten about the youngsters. We seem to be spending a lot of money which I dont know where it's coming from as Robbo was pleading poverty a few months back, but you know what if we go on to have a great season and fingers crossed get a run in Europe I will be the first to say great decision, I just feel we still need a great youth academy...COYW
