I see Paul Smith is recovering from a heart attack, wishing him a speedy recovery. Him and Andy Walker had a good partnership in the 80's, both ....ahem.....crisp finishers !! 🤪 Get well soon Smudger, will never forget that equaliser in cup at tynecastle in 1987 when you cemented Henry Smith to set up Walker, plus your overhead effort against Rangers in league cup semi in 1987 also

Caldwell saying a few bids in but nowhere near what we are looking for.

I don't hate Kettlewell. But he needs to turn things round. If he does I will be first on here apologising

I think it is fair for folk to criticise Kettlewell. It's all about opinions and while some folk can see so fault with him I think it's only right to criticise when it's deserved. His style of football is terrible and he seems incapable of having a plan b. And as I have said before, I am someone who has defended him loads so it's not just a case of looking for any reason to want him punted. Now is the time for him to step up and prove why he deserves to stay in the job. A win this Saturday would. E a great start COYW

Having reflected on last night I am still raging but also need to acknowledge we had SIX starters missing, Ox, mcginn, Gordon, seddon, miller and stama. That would impact any team. However the players on the pitch should still have been good enough to get us a win. The problem for me is how we are being set up, any opposition knows exactly the formation we will be playing and that all comes down to Kettlewell. He has no clue how to change things but surely Frail should be advising him also.? Also I think the pressure is now getting to him hence the run of yellow and red cards he gets now. Seems to blame everyone bar himself. I like the guy, and backed him loads but it does seem he has run out of ideas and also a lot of signings really need to be questioned, but has also made good ones, stama and TJ I think have been good but only if played properly. I don't think he is going anywhere soon but he needs to get a tune out of these players, were 1700 there yesterday, be lucky to get 170 this Saturday which says it all. And finally a lot of folk comparing him to Alexander. I disagree, we were brutal last full season and somehow managed top 6. Yet board kept him on but for me Alexander was an unlikeable person, way he treated SOD was terrible. Kettlewell frustrates me but I don't dislike the guy. COYW

We need a response but been saying same thing after hearts game...hibs game.... A win opens up 19pt gap on saints and means we just need to avoid finishing 11th....easy peasy Jeez!! How strong is the wine I am drinking 🤣

For me the concerning thing is the performances. If we were competing and losing you can say fair enough but the last 4 away performances have been a shambles. I know folk keep saying "we are 5th in league " but I genuinely think come end of February we will be 9th or 10th. Yes if we can survive this season then a big decision to be made as Kettlewell isn't learning or improving things in my opinion. At least he is on a rolling contract unlike the bonkers 3 1/2 ye extension we gave Alexander
-
A defeat next week certainly won't help his case
-
Not from me, I always give every manager my backing but if it ain't working I will be honest. I certainly like Kettlewell a lot more than Alexander who was just a horrible character in my opinion and treated some players terribly
-
No. He is going nowhere but he is losing support in each passing week. I was a fan and had backed him loads but not anymore. Also his attitude for me has also changed, is everyone's fault bar his and loves being darling of the media. The recent constant moaning at refs also irritating, yes we have had lots of horrendous decisions but so do other teams
-
I said that and I just mean that if under pressure Kettlewell will throw that fact in. Yes it was a stroke of genius but shouldn't guarantee his job, he needs to turn this round bit I don't have faith in him , but that's just my opinion

.

Cheers pal, yup I have backed him loads but enough is enough He wouldn't be out a job for long as his media pals would see him ok
-
And Pink Floyd night on Sky Arts. I am still comfortably numb after that result 🤪

I can't face listening to it

Nancy was brilliant in Oliver, ohhh oom pah pah. Oom pah pah Non fans of 1960 musicals will have no idea what I am on about
-
He can't keep living off the " I signed bair and won at ibrox" as a reason to stick with him. After previous away games and huge support a reaction was expected today and it wasn't. But as I also said....the players need a look at themselves
-
Defended him loads even when things were bad but I am sorry....after last season horrendous run when board backed him he has had 2 windows and we have made no progress and a style of football which is terrible. The injuries this season of course haven't helped but his attitude has changed and he seems to love sound of his own voice. Board don't have the guts to make a change but I think it's time to go despite fact we are 5th but that will change very quickly. If we turn it round I promise you I will be first on this forum apologising to him
-
Embarrassing, players also need to look at themselves but hey!! It will be the officials fault, defended him loads but sorry Stuart not any more
-
"We all need to take ownership..myself included" Stuart Kettlewell..5.30pm
-
Never his fault....he'll just blame it on the officials as usual. Gutted for our away support today
