  1. Wimmer Wimmer Chicken Dinner 🤣 3 points on Sunday and Killie hopefully to get something against McInnes's mob
  2. Sorry for Simo Valakari , if he stays at St Johnstone I hope they get back up next season. Always comes across as a truly nice guy
  3. Well Well Super Well Super Motherwell
  4. I remember John Swinburne , proper old school guy Changed days indeed 30 years on where you can now get everything at the click of a button Remember back in the day I would buy the match programme , the Motherwell times, check teletext for any news that was happening Younger generations would laugh 😂 and think no way did that happen
  5. I take great pride in the fact my Dad knew Andy Ritchie who played roughly the same time He always spoke highly of him and said he was a Well diehard , they chatted in the Bookies regularly back in the day
  6. Yep I read about that as well What sounded so much better though in the book beating the same team 3-0 at new year , then Celtic 2-1 very soon Apart from McClair at Man United scoring goals my only other memory of him was coming back to Harry's revolution 🤣 Ended up at Blackburn as assistant manager if I remember right the same season
  7. Have no recollection of either as a manager as I was born in 1983 , hence the username I did however read a book by Matt Johnstone. Might have been Joe Wark knew my father Tae Season 83-84 sounded totally grim
  8. I met Dougie at a wedding in 2010 when he worked in hospitality I personally thanked him for 1991 that night , which he enjoyed
  9. Good job there wasn't Facebook in the likes of 1995-1996 when we went something like 10 games without scoring under Big Eck, or in the last year of Billy Davies Going further back than that Tommy McLean would probably never have lasted up to 1991 either if the club hadn't seen what he had been trying to build I did read the one as well about Dougie Arnott at the weekend , legendary player he was but for anyone to suggest him as our new manager is ridiculous comment to make
  10. Astonishing in my opinion that any Well fan should be calling for Wimmer to be sacked
  11. Definitely will be , I am still kinda hoping St Johnstone catch one of them just because of Simo Simo Simo I think they have left it far too late though
  12. Disappointing afternoon I fancied a draw today , but not to be . If anything a wake up call for next season . Still improvement needed
  13. I agree , just get the VAR away as far as possible
  14. Digital option for me also , it was purchased and I have email to say purchase was successful
  15. https://news.stv.tv/sport/michael-wimmer-enjoying-growing-connection-with-motherwell-fans?fbclid=IwY2xjawKJ4FFleHRuA2FlbQIxMQABHicn1_Bi639ucxonuns2p2hhaogJcxu_7oZ-QLtMp8v6xACneN9Xqb9g5t5T_aem_ouXaAFSLUkCP5Q3mKNFNlw
  16. I stumbled across the exact same game, it was the 2-1 defeat on new years day 1999 The pre-match atmosphere looking back didnt look too exciting. I was there and we were robbed One guy who was talking about us in the pre-match chat was a future manager of us Craig Brown. I remember him saying I love coming here
  17. One that has been getting played more in recent seasons at half time . Great choice
  18. Think you are right when you say both those songs were before the game Jim Gannon was a guy who could cause a debate back in the day
  19. I remember that one as well Seem to remember the Well fans singing Amarillo by Tony Christie before the game and bouncing about , while the Rangers fans looked on in disbelief
  20. Funny enough My Hometown popped into my head Believe it was John Spencer who chose Jump Around . That didn't last too long though
  21. I hadn't even clicked on to that if I am being honest 🤣
