If you ask me (and nobody is asking me) Bowman is not even an unnatural goalscorer. Main is out of form just now but Bowman doesn't have any form. Even look at the goal he scored in last season's semi-final against Aberdeen, he almost didn't mean it to be a shot. Just my view. We need a clear out of most of the first choice strikers to achieve anything in the near future.

As others have said we are not shipping goals, we have lost a couple of goals but we are not losing many. On Saturday it wouldn't be stretching it too much to say Ryan Bowman could have scored a hat trick and Main's missed headed at St Mirren was really bad. The real problem as I see it is our two front men are not doing it.

I agree with this completely. My original point, which clearly I have not made my point very well, is that we have grown this very good young squad and have not given them much chance in the first team due to external buys from elsewhere. That is where I think the management have not done very well in looking at the long term.

I don't believe this is a good return for what was clearly an excellent squad only a very short time ago and I would really question the ethos of our management as regards youth development. What do others think?

IMO Its not 3-5-2 that is a disaster (look at last season) it is the fact we don't have the key players available at the moment (Dunne and Kipre) to play it properly. A good manager would recognise this and change the formation to suit the players he does have at his disposal.

Yes he did. I was there as well and we left for our bus with Stoke about to take a penalty to win it. McCrae saved it, scored one, and saved the next one (as we headed back to the bus). Still we sang with everyone else on the bus home think I was about 14.

I pretty much agree with that team except I thought Bowman was injured. I suppose I would put Main in for Bowman and have Sammon on the bench in his place.
