Yes but he is so young and that is why he is a much better player and asset than many are describing. Why do you want him to go? He is of a much higher quality than we could buy.

He has been injured for a big chunk of it, been played out of position for another part of it, and yes not quite up to the level he set the previous seasons but, all in all, he hardly had a season at all as opposed to a poor season.

If we can finish 7th, given our start to the season, I think that would be a terrific result. Particularly as we have brought in our own young players and changed the style of play too!

Utter nonsense! - He used to mention Motherwell most weeks on Saint and Greavsie and when he didn't and the Well were mentioned Greaves would comment on it being Saints' team. And apart from that I know the family, used to own a newsagent at the end of the Loaning.

I was talking about Gordon Banks, JGs header defected off someone and sent Banks the wrong way. It didn't stop me from celebrating the goal though. Myself and a couple of pals skipped school and got the Wishaw Branch supporters bus to the second leg at Stoke. Peter Milne and John Ferrier you are now exposed and in trouble with your mums (and the school).

I see Gordon Banks has died. Does anyone still remember the display he put on at Fir Park in the original Texaco Cup? Is anyone still alive from then? It was an amazing display even though Motherwell won 1-0 with a bit flooky Johnnie Goldthorpe goal. He didn't play in the second leg which went to penalties and our own Keith Macrae turned into the hero. Two fantastic matches!

Sorry but if you have run two thirds of the length of the pitch and beaten two defenders there is no way you are going to pass it even if you have seen an unmarked teammate. Unless your name is Messi or the likes of course.
