Watched our highlights back, we are utter dug meat
-
We need to survive this season, third bottom would be massive for us, offload the majority of this heartless weak non trying team, and try and rebuild a full new side.
-
When we lose midweek that’s us touching distance from bottom
-
One shot on target says it all, at least the season tickets will be cheaper in the championship
-
We are probably the weakest side in the league, too many below average players, a team that would struggle in the championship, can’t keep a clean sheet when that should be our number one priority after the amount of goals we have shipped lately.
-
Honking, game over, another defeat

He did want to stay. We show no ambition as a club. We wont speculate. And take it to next level..Gamble yes but what we got is mediocre. Club ownership not working.
We’re mince, slow all over the park, we saw it with Hammell last season, we are so easy to play against, slow weak press and we can’t keep hens out a close, recruitment has been very poor, think third bottom is our target for this season.
-
Sad thing is we need Butcher at the back, would be great to have two confident CB’s then play Butcher in midfield.
Bit of dig in the midfield is missing but zero out ball is killing us.
-
Utter dug meat, players need to hold their heads in shame, zero effort, can’t pass three foot, forward that can’t jump or protect ball, made a shite team look like superstars.
-
Heard today that Fletcher has signed, any truth, as for hold up and link up play Bair wouldn’t be at the races.

The kind of disjointed performance you'd expect a week into the season.
It's going to be 5 or 6 weeks until teams start really clicking and we are no different.
Started poorly, dominated the middle portion, then faded out of it again.
Although there was only 1 goal in the game both teams could easily have scored multiple goals and both teams missed what were frankly sitters.
People will criticise Obika but he gets in positions and has good movement. Maybe his finishing is a problem but we were clearly a much better team while he was on. I'm not going to write off Wilkinson after one match but based purely based on today he showed nothing, not even a hint of anything. Hopefully he has better days.
In midfield I thought the starters all did OK but it was individual performances and they didn't really click together as a unit. Spittal was by far our best player, Lennon Miller is a kid with promise but a lot to learn and Slattery is the enigma. For me he's far better suited as an AM than a midfielder or a DM. He gets forward well and is a decent finisher but his passing is sloppy and he's easily neutralised when the opposition is on the ball. I'm not entirely sure he fits into the formation.
I'll give O'Donnell credit for stopping what looked like a certain goal but overall he was poor again and defensively we weren't entirely convincing, Queens Park could have scored 2 or 3 if they'd been sharper.
Overall we got the job done and that was the main thing. Our fitness and sharpness will get better but there might be personnel issues in terms of putting out a balanced first XI that really blends well and compliments one an other.
Would like to see Zdravkovski to see what kind of player he is and I think you are looking for more from some of the players, established and new.
How did Queens Park look very comfortable the whole game, if they had a better final ball the game would have been so different today, they done everything we should have done in the first two thirds of the park, our only pass mark in Midfield was Slatt’s, the rest were slow and static, I get that Lennon is only 16, but we need to move and show more, their midfield cruised it today, hopefully another two in before season starts as the bench was pretty weak.
-
Hopefully there is some truth in the big Nigerian striker as we need someone up front who can put the ball in the back of the net. Today was brutal, misplaced passes, no one moving off the ball, Queens Park looked a decent side, done everything we should have done…

They've got Ruari Paton who scored 26 goals for QOTS last season and Barry Hepburn a winger on loan from Bayern Munich so they might be decent going forward.
We’ve got Bevis 😱😱

This is the performance we needed to allow Kettlewell to justify putting certain players on the bench at best. Onwards.
True, Mugabi and Lamie should never be near that team again
-
Absolutely rotten, players should hang their heads in shame, embarrassment for all the fans that travelled down there.
-
-
I know it’s just a cup game, and we should still qualify, but Ketterwell need another CB as they two are pure pish
-
Can’t keep hens out a close
-
Our Defending is still extremely dodgy, I know Casey to come in, but just shows you Bevis and Lamie won’t do.
-
Only another 4 signings to go to we all start to get ready to enjoy our season, two CB’s, CM and pacy winger will do, Mandron to St Midden 😂😂, anyone who wanted him must be dreaming
-
The lack of even linking us with any players is frightening, our overall performance’s were brutal last season, we are now light a few bodies, fearing the worse as we don’t have the new manager bounce card to play anymore, we need at least 5 in, concerning…..

Really hoped Casey would have signed, not looking likely, need at least two CB’s a tough tackling CM, a wide man with pace and a CF to replace KVV, squad looks Alexander weak, fingers crossed we bring a few in before season starts.
-
Anything on Casey ?, doesn’t even seem to be linked with anyone else, fingers crossed.
