Midfield were extremely slow today, Spittal looked like he towing a caravan, Goss and Cornelius tracked no one today, Slattery’s red finishes the game, but the boy Cantwell should hang his head in shame, zero contact to the face and he is rolling around like he’s been punched, that’s football now, teams do anything to get an advantage. But VAR is a joke Sakala is off, the rule states it’s got to be a ball playing part that puts you in an on/off position, looking at the line his shoulder is not further forward than Sakala’s foot.

Was Slattery’s red for having his hand near the players face, contact was on shoulder not face, but player goes down holding face, why did VAR not look at it ?

Great result, fantastic run under Ketterwell, first half wasn’t great but job done in the end, spoke to one of the players yesterday says guys are really buying into what Ketterwell is trying to do, identified right away we have no real wingers, looking to get Butcher into midfield but needs a fully fit partner for Casey, hopefully big Bevis fitness improves and he can start this will break up Goss, Slattery and Spittal.

Must have been at a different game to me, Obika was slow couldn’t jump for any challenges and never chased down any balls put out from the back, but if you think he played well then we will agree to disagree 👍🏻

Best I’ve seen Big Kev play for a while, midfield still let back line down, would be good to get butcher in midfield as he talks and controls game well, Obika is pish, offered zero, can’t jump doesn’t run to press, and for a big guy can’t even hold up the ball, but Spittal man of the match, must have been at a different game from me, as all he done is put balls out for a throw in.

Ketterwell might not have credentials to be our number one pick but on our budget, who has. Let’s get behind him and hope he gets a reaction out of this lazy bunch of non triers, we will judge him on his starting eleven, hope he has watched enough of us to realise that Goss, Slattery and Spital are shit and cannot start for us tonight.

fair play to Hammy and the club, this is exactly the type of comment I was hoping to see. I want to see the team fight for the win like their lives depend on it. If we don’t see that we know the players just won’t do it for Hammy.
Thought it was a bit of a strange comment, does he mean the players haven’t been backing him until they had a chat, the performance mid week tells you our players/ set up is shit, or they are not buying into him 🤷🏻♂️

I spoke to SOD about Mikey Devlin, when Alexander was in charge, he said he put a word in then, as they are mates but no joy, I’d take a punt on him for 6 months, decent at Accies, worth a gamble.
