  1. Maguire might turn out to be a star , he hasn't done anything yet, to make me think that, but another one who I haven't seen enough of.He does seem to be becoming a better player on here by not playing??
  2. He may be or not, hes not had enough of a run yet. He wins a few in the air , defo unfair to criticise him yesterday . On the plus side, he looks a sharp dresser off the park.
  3. If it's the goal we lost , from memory the young lad Cornelius got caught on the ball? Hopefully we are not going to be overly critical , he will learn from it . Odonnell tried that shot , but I need to watch highlights to remember the time line between that and the goal. I think he thought shooting would be better than crossing, which isn't his strong point. Hes been ok for us , but I wouldn't be bursting the bank to keep him It's a pity Crawford couldn't stay on. Him and Campbell look good together. Tony watt looked really sharp too.
  4. Look on the bright side, had it not been for the 92bd minute equalizer, you wouldn't have been posting last night.
  5. Too true, dont know what Whyte did wrong today? If we keep playing like that, we will surely win more than we lose.
  6. Bollocks, united are another bang average side, I expect us to finish above.
  7. Thought Hattie looked more like it in spells yesterday....why has it taken him so long to get fit though?
  8. We should’ve scored at least a couple , as with the Hibs game too. Yesterday the Polworth header and Lang’s chance in first half. Hubs game the ‘“goal “ we scored and Mugabe Header Again the goal we lost was so bloody soft. It’s the oldest cliche in the book tho, if you don’t put them away we are going to look a bad team.
  9. Watched highlights for first time last night. Although the panellists on sportsecene made reference to it , they didn't replay the disallowed goal during the analysis. I think it merited a few replays, if only to embarrass the ref, theres borderline decisions and just plain wrong, that's the latter. Anyway Hibs would probably have won but you need these things to fir you. Also did the Hibs player get booked for the lunge at Odonnell, if he had connected , that shouldve been a red. Noticed St J players at that too, rather than try and match players run, just taking the boy clean out, bit galling when a player can get booked for a mistimed tackle.
  10. There probably wasnt a great deal between the teams until first goal but Boyle is a very good player and his pace troubles most teams. He wasnt a big buy by Hibs and wasnt going anywhere at previous club( Dundee?) It's just finding those one or two nuggets that can make all the difference in this league.
  11. Chalking off legit goals are ones you need to get right, showed a lack of understanding of the game
  12. If he thinks that's a foul he doesnt understand the game.
  13. It's a hard watch at ths minute and I am a Robbo fan.. its maybe one of those years, tomny mclean had them too Imagine somebody being tempted by a higher paid job, you dont even know if that's true tho
  14. Funny you should say that, today's game reminded me a lot of the Scottish cup game v Ross County, when they were in first division. We just didn't look at it
  15. Aw right gary holt...wtf has that got to do with Motherwell??
  16. Aye , that's old holty for you though...honourable to the end and a bloody nice bloke too. Who you talking about , Holt???
  17. That tackle by McCann shouldve been red..no attempt to play ball
  18. So between 5 and 20 PC have been in a pub or restaurant and MAY have caught it there, if there are ones who aren't doing the controls properly, by all means, close them. That still leaves between 80 and 95 PC who haven't.. outdoor contact sports also stopped , is there evidence that there have been any transmission from this , genuine question?? House gatherings will continue unabated where presumably the vast majority are occurring ...sledgehammer to crack a nut comes to mind
  19. Fair enough , but if we had figures to indicate where and how transmission takes place, e.g pubs/ restaurants apparently are something like 5% of cases . It would be interesting to know how widely it has been transmitted in an outdoor setting ,therefore with some sort of breakdown, it would be easier to risk assess rather than just stop things completely. if the track/ trace system is working effectively, these figs should be available.
  20. I wouldnt want their jobs either, but just some scientific explanation for not allowing some restricted crowds...I know I am like a broken record but football is played and watched outside
  21. The figures for transmission in hospitality is very low , approx 5% , so it’s a bit of a myth that going to the pub spreads it very much.
  22. If that was true , it could have bigger ramifications than us getting 3 points Nicola Sturgeon could put the boot into football again ... remember her yellow card statement? As someone said at the time if it was a group of lawyers for example, would she threaten the law society?? Anyway hopefully its unfounded rumour and we crack on.
