Had the fear it would be Falkirk all over again at some points after dominating in the first half.
Brilliant to see that second goal go in and a great 3 points.
Have to agree with respect to VAR scope.
Can't remember who said it before but I think the best way I have heard it put is in Scotland VAR is being used to find pebbles when it's boulders it should be identifying.
Struggling to remember two contrasting half's in a game, probably 2-0 up HT at home to Patrick in the 90's and losing 3-2 .
Gutting to take nothing, should have been at least 2 or 3 up in the first half, not seen Said's "goal" back yet.
Was actually thinking we had a good chance if running up a score in the second half.
Worrying how easily we were picked open after half time and how poorly we respond to the opposition stepping things up.
Thought Ap Stam was unlucky with the hand ball, the way it came at him off Bain.
Could easily have went for Watt or Welsh but thought O'Donnell looked assured all game with some nice touches in tight positions and going forward unfortunately the latter didn't come off.
Whole defence looks fairly solid recently, pity Welsh won't be available at Celtic.
Ap Stam put a great shift in but a lot just didn't come off for him, hopefully things will start to click for him.
Brilliant 3 points, was actually settling for a draw after the chances we missed and they missed a couple of chances late on.
Joe Lewis back at Aberdeen as goalie coach?
Glad to see Ap Stam put away the penalty, wouldn't like to think what it would have done for his confidence had he missed it.
Midfield all done well today but Just edged it for me. Busy all game and impressed how he wins back possession against bigger opponents.
Longelo and SOD also stood out today.
Really disappointing not to win that, better team by a mile. No getting past it, Ward mistake cost us 2 points.
Just hope we can sharpen up in the final third to the extent these mistakes don't cost us.
Thought there were a lot of good performances and Priestman looked very comfortable immediately after coming on.
McLeish, Brown, McCall and McGhee were good for spells but for me it has to be Tommy McLean for how he improved us over time and obviously the only trophy I have seen us lift.
Worst would be between Malpas, Kampman and, sorry to say it, Hammell.
Thought it was between the full backs today.
Went for Longelo. Apart from the goal and his threat going forward, I think on today's performance he may be a decent defender as well.
Johnny K could be one that gets better the more he plays and gains confidence. Thought he was great in the second half in particular.
Thought the first half was pretty even, really disappointing to concede a corner from our goal kick and then give them a free header to go one down.
Better team in the second and anything less than a draw would have been robbery.
Hopeful things will click more the more the players get used to how the manager wants us to play.
Definitely need additions.
Hopeful Ap Stam just needs to get sharper. Just seems to do fine but things don't go his way in the final third, although he did well on his assist for the equaliser.
