  1. Weirdly, I've got to agree with MJC here...if the green fannies don't go on the park (at the home of their most bitterest rivals) then the blue fannies don't reciprocate. As soon as the penalty was taken I knew fannies of that Club would be on the park
  2. A luddite, by fuck! To me, its not borne out of pure attachment that I want to stay at Fir Park, its the thought of what we end up with (and where) that is the over-riding factor for me. Ive not see any new build in Scotland, where I've thought 'my God, I wish this was ours'...not once. The money required to finance a full new-build will surely make anything other than a 'Bill Barr' effort out of the question? The way I see it, we should be pulling out all the stops to demolish and rebuild the main stand into a stand that suits our needs, something modern but functional. Hibs and Hearts managed it, with limited footprints, so why cant we?
  3. Can't think of many things worse than a flat-pack effort of a stadium at that desolate Ravenscraig
  4. We should send him on loan to one of the lesser clubs in the Premier league, such as St Mirren to see if he can cut it in our league
  5. When JBA goes, we will be in an extremely healthy position on and off the park...and will also be an attractive proposition to a different level of manager than we are used to
  6. I think if you look at football clubs as a business, then its pretty easy to see which club has had the better season...our gates are up, our income is up and our players and manager are in demand, which will further allow the club to grow. Would I love to win the Scottish Cup, fucking right I would but this season (and to be fair, the way the club has been run off the park in the last couple of seasons) is allowing the club, as a business, to stabilise and grow.
  7. Agree with you mainly, but playing Connolly in a must-win game was a strange one...but thats not what lost us the game Renfrewshire, surely?
  8. While I don't want to go full-blown MJC, in terms of having a wee stauner for Ranjurs, and being overly negative towards Motherwell...I cannae shift the feeling that our inactivity compared to their good form is going to see us struggle a bit here
  9. The 3 year deal was due to be concluded at the end of this season...the Club maybe don't feel the need to be involved in this and are putting their efforts into getting someone else lined up. The only issue I see, is if they haven't paid what was promised to us
  10. He was shite...but we've had much, much worse
  11. For being pretty shite, hes done alright has Stevie
  12. Shaun Fagan was in 1st year at the school in 1996 🤣...getting your Fagans mixed up with your Ian Ross
  13. It's the only stat that lets us down over the past 3 decades and the only stat that allows supporters of our peer clubs to argue their merits when discussing relative success...its something we need to right, asap
