Good man...any discussion will be welcome and good natured
-
Without knowing you personally but reading your comments for years I'd say that you're the man for this
-
Yes horrific end to a talented life, much in the same way as Hugh Gallagher of Airdrie and Newcastle
-
Yes difficult but liverpool have managed it...and if nothing else it creates a bit of discussion and no one will ever agree
-
Good shout...hes some stiff opposition though How would we compile it?
-
Just off the back of what liverpool are doing...its only playing that seems to be the criteria and not managing or anything else Thats not to take away from Stevensons efforts
-
My papa, who would now be well over 100 said Aitken was the best he'd ever seen at Fir Park
-
Id doubt either will be in the top50 which is where they are now?
-
I'll be amazed if its anyone other than Dalglish on Liverpools list...to be fair to them, they have gone all the way back to the start of the club and named people like Alex Raisbech and even a certain Matt Busby. Motherwells would need to include Ferrier, McFadyen, Stevenson, Ellis and the rest
-
Course he will...im just interested to see how high up he will be at Liverpool. Top20 I reckon
-
For anyone that follows Liverpool FC on Facebook they will know that they are currently announcing the greatest 100 to ever play for the Club...they are currently at number 49 as they countdown to number 1, which Id assume will be Kenny Dalglish, but haven't yet mentioned St John. Anyway, got me thinking, whats Motherwells greatest 100...and it'll take a bit of thought and research id think

Not concerned by the guys age in the slightest and the fact he has a couple of years at the sharp end with Norways biggest club would take away any concern on that front. He looked nervous in that meeting with the players right enough but im prepared to cut him some slack given he probably knows absolutely no one in the room.

Robbos team were industrial, aggressive, up-and-at-them...it wasn't sexy but I enjoyed watching it for completely different reasons that I enjoyed watching JBAs team
-
The club manage to keep information in-house these days as opposed to the Burrows-era where everyone in Lanarkshire knew what the gossip at the club was. Appointing a new manager, specifically a new manager who fits the club, isnt always straightforward
-
Rangers, Celtic are monumentally bigger Aberdeen, Hearts and Hibs are massive in comparison to us. Utd act like they are, but not by much. Then its us and the other big 'provincial' clubs
-
I switched it off...I cannae listen to the clown
-
Falkirk toon, is bigger than Motherwell toon...is that what you meant?
-
The big boy up front for motherwell
-
Take out the bottom ten rows or something, cover them in they advertising banners you see elsewhere
-
Thats what id assume anyway
-
£500 these fuds get for sitting in the wee VAR room
-
Never saw the game but one of the pundits on the radio said we were 'a level above Hibs'...which is great to hear, but equally great to see that type of recognition topped off with something tangible. My youngest son was at the game and said the atmosphere in the 'well end was electric. This team won't get embarrassed in Europe, I'm pretty sure of that
-
Certainty the Block E bois will get the blame
-
Well done you...on an evening where there is so much to talk about, you think this is even worth a dig at the young lads down there? Geez peace If you dont think we played well then, as someone who hasn't seen as much this season as Id have liked to, I can only assume you've been spoilt rotten this year. I said to someone sitting close by during the match that after 40 years of watching our team, I dont think I'll ever get used to seeing us play this way. I thought we were terrific. On the penalty, 2 things...did Beaton give himself enough time to really scrutinise the evidence? Would he have been so quick to give us it at the other end? My answer to both questions is a solid 'naw'

We will never be able to stop Celtic taking our manager or any player that they want because quite simply their fan base and finances are on a completely different level to us...no amount of investment will change that.
