I think we will be fine a few fresh signings and it will be grand.I think a more experienced head would have got us a point out of that today(not a dig at Hammell)Big week coming up this cant drag on and on need a new guy asap.If they give the job to Hammell then they need get a old head as his number two then it might work. I think a good chance that the board might go get someone that has ties to the club just to build bridges with the fans with Hammell as a number two.I wouldn't want Lambert comes across pretty arrogant has that Strachan every press conference has to be like a 10 min set at the Fringe. I am starting to think lets just give it to someone young with fresh ideas still got a whole season ahead of us, points on the board lets just do something different. Pepe was managing Barca at 37ish i think albeit one of best sides in world football with one of the best players ever but why not go for a Kevin Thompson someone along those lines rather him than a Lambert type doesn't matter how old you are if you are good enough you are good enough worth a wee punt.

I really don't want Hammell to get the job however I be open to him being assistant good link between the fans and the club. If Robbo comes back I won't set foot in Fir Park the mess he left us in was unforgivable,won about 5 games the last year he was with us and signed worst goalie I have ever witnessed in my life. Strange times at Fir Park don't want to be a doom and gloom merchant,tend to think of myself as positive but can't think of a worst start to a season.Two weeks to get someone and last two weeks of August to plug the holes in the team. I swear Robbo has a A4 bit of paper with about 4-5 answers on it that he uses all the time.Come November-December time he will wheel out the "Some boys are getting heads turned by people as it's getting near to transfer window" or fav at the Well which was"I hold my hands up just wasn't good enough today" But this is a man who didn't want to do another rebuild went to Morecambe and signed about 20 odd players . The finger tip ease now of betting has been the downfall of many.I gamble myself and been pretty successful at it not life changing i was up end of last season 750ish I am single no kids,I don't drink or smoke so it's my wee guilty pleasure. I do think they are needing to raise the gambling age as young folk addiction levels are through the roof. I need to know what players that left has made us weaker?Grimshaw? Donnelly?O Hara?Roberts?Who?.Just curious cause if anything we got rid of alot of injury prone floaters.

To be fair to Shields if you played him right through the middle then totally different player.If we sold KVV I would take the money invest in a decent left back and play Shields as striker I think he would bang them in.

100 percent agree with you think if we played Shields through the middle with KVV doing his shithousery against centre backs he would be much more effective.

This is the best transfer window we have ever had!Why you ask?Because we are not rebuilding a whole bloody team as per and the players will know each others style of play from the off.Hence why the 3 year contracts we were dishing out and I suspect it will be same next year aswell. More than happy Spittal and McGinn good solid SPL players we do have the all we need is to add a left back(which we won't) and front additions which I think we will.

Hope Robbo signs Aaron Chapman next for his experience and wealth of football abilities in goal. On Gallagher he was a disgrace when we were on our knees,didn't give a fuk that season couldn't wait to get his move so nothing gave me greater pleasure than to see his move to Aberdeen fail and I hope he has another mare at St Mirren.

I don't think we have used O Donnell properly different player when he is bombing forward all the time decent crosser and loves a shot at goal.Good signing McGinn for a year however the fact frontline has not been addressed yet is worrying.Never getting a full season out of Van Veen need something asap really don't fancy the forwards we have at all.
