  1. Should go to Killie and sign Ben Brannan
  2. Watch the 3rd goal back. AP runs back towards the halfway line and drags his centre half with him, whilst doing this he's pointing exactly where SOD's ball needs to go. I think AP should be doing better with the few chances he gets but it looks like he's doing exactly what Askou wants him to do for the benefit of the team right now. The goals will come.
  3. Just had a look at this game. There’s a couple of ex Well players playing for Rotherham - Kaleta and Zak Jules. Apparently Liam Kelly has left Rangers and become a midfielder according to flashscore
  4. Looking forward to this one - will be my first trip to McDiarmid. Should be a good game with how Saints are playing just now, however they certainly won't be pushovers. Will be interesting to see how McGinn and SOD/Gordon/Blamer cope with big Ikpeazu and Sidibeh's pace. We should be able to create a few chances as well with Saints actually attacking us. Will go 2-1 or 1-2.
  5. Out of interest, what was the price for a Cat A ticket in previous years? Season tickets have obviously went up and I noticed at the Morton game the cost of pies/juice/meal deal etc had all been increased.
  6. Marvin Kaleta has signed for Rotherham
  7. Sherwin Seedorf has signed for FK Banga in Lithuania's top flight
  8. Sparrow and SOD suspended for this due to yellow cards
  9. Tough choice this week - gone with Thompson however Sparrow, Slattery and Andrews were all great too. What a difference in Thompson compared to the County game. He never stopped running.
  10. Performances excellent from everyone but I've had to go for the bold SOD. Much maligned by myself and others in recent weeks but he put in the type of performance that makes me eat my words. Long may it continue.
  11. SOD has achieved the most in football of any our players and possibly, only Lennon will achieve more in of anyone in our squad. You’ll need to forgive me for expecting him to be able to control the ball or pass it to a teammate regularly. Fingers crossed Wimmer and Koc can show him and the rest of the team how to pass to a player in claret and amber
  12. I remember against Raith away he cocked up a few times, and when fans started having a go at him he turned around and started laughing... not a great look. Always, when the going gets tough for the team it seems to affect him & being a 32 yr old experienced player you would expect him to deal with these things a wee bit better. Happy to acknowledge that he played well from around March onwards last year until his injury this season, however it did feel like the reason he was playing well was for a new contract. He has never been very consistent with us which is a shame as I always felt he was in his Partick & Killie days
  13. SOD has been at the club for years and always seems to be at the centre of issues with managers/fan discontent. Maybe if he sorted out his attitude when fans get on his back for some of the absolutely rotten performances he's put in for years, he'd get a bit of slack
  14. Motherwell announcing Stevie Frail as the new manager will have the same vibes about it as the SFA announcing Collum would be the new Head of Refereeing Willie Collum has been appointed Head of Refereeing at the Scottish FA following an extensive recruitment process. The Scottish FA and global sports recruitment experts Elevate Talent compiled a list of experienced applicants from four different continents. Willie’s experience, leadership responsibilities within the Scottish education system, understanding of the Scottish football landscape and resilience made him the outstanding candidate. Ian Maxwell, Scottish FA Chief Executive said: “When we announced that Crawford was leaving at the end of the season the board and senior team were clear that we would leave no stone unturned in getting the best candidate for a job that has become significantly more demanding with the arrival of VAR. “We had applications from experienced candidates across the UK, Europe, North America, Asia and Australia. It is to Willie’s great credit that he emerged as the outstanding candidate from such a strong international field.
  15. McGhee is a solid player at our level. Has covered nearly every position and scores plenty of goals.
  16. No Kettlewell out shouts this morning then?
  17. Paton and Halliday were both excellent yesterday, and amazingly both playing well at the same time. Maswanhise for me though, he bullied Rangers until he ran out of energy
  18. 1-2 Motherwell, Miller to score a dodgy pen and Santa to get booed
  19. Didn't realsie Ebiye had scored that many. Kimpioka is on 11 this season anyway. I'd rather have him than Robinson.
  20. Brutal?? He has more goals than all of our strikers combined lmao
  21. Only caught the 2nd half thankfully, a clean sheet, 3 points and a Tony Watt redemption goal. Cannae beat it.
